The Kathmandu Valley Cultural trek is a newly developed trekking route that offers a very different experience than that of other trekking routes in Nepal. Taking you to some of the most popular hiking destinations (Sundarijal, Chisapani, Nagarkot, and Changu Narayan) of the Kathmandu Valley, the trek presents the most beautiful rural culture in the shadow of the stunning peaks stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west to Everest and Kanchenjunga in the east.
Although the trail is more of the cultural trekking, the beautiful forest of Rhododendron, cascading waterfalls, streams, the view of the Kathmandu Valley, and myriads of other natural wonder contributes to making this trek a perfect short trek. A visit to Changu Narayan Temple built during the 5th century and the sunrise view from Nagarkot and the Shivapuri & Nagarjun National Park are the major attractions of the trek.
This is an easy trek very much suitable for children and elderly people. 2,300m is the maximum altitude achieved during the trek. 6 days Kathmandu Valley Cultural Trek itinerary designed by Amigo Treks and Expedition also includes a guided sightseeing tour to the world heritage site (Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and the Kathmandu and Bhaktapur Durbar Square) of the Kathmandu Valley.
