Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu Welcome to Nepal. Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal, one of the company representatives will meet and greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel booked for you in Kathmandu. The same person will help you with hotel check-in formalities, after which you can have lunch, rest, and relax at the hotel before welcome dinner. One of the company representatives will come to pick you up at the hotel and take you to a typical Nepalese restaurant for a welcome dinner, in the evening. You will be introduced to typical Nepalese meals and different cultures of different ethnic groups spread across Nepal via cultural dance, music, songs, and clothes. Day 2: Fly to Jomsom in a helicopter Breakfast at the hotel and we will transfer you from the hotel to the airport in Kathmandu. After a few airport check-in formalities, you will board a private helicopter and fly to Jomsom. Your accommodation in Jomsom is arranged at the Shinta Mani Mustang – A Bensley Collection Resort. You will check into the resort and after some time, you will either hike and/or drive to Marpha – a very beautiful village in Mustang, famous for its apple orchards. If you choose to hike to Marpha, you will be picked up by the car after the hike for the final drive to Marpha. In Marpha, you will explore the village of Marpha from north to south stopping by at monasteries and other points of interest along the way. You will also visit (arranged in advance) Ekai Kawaguchi’s Home, commonly known as the Japanese House. This house is the home of the headman of Marpha, where a Japanese Zen monk, Ekai Kawaguchi, stayed for 3 months and studied sacred texts of Kangyur and Tengyur in the chapel of the house in 1900, while he was on his way to Tibet via Dolpo. This village also provides many shopping opportunities to the visitors, and we will help you choose the best among them. The lunch today will be at the Thakali Kitchen, where you will be served Thakali food prepared by a very famous Thakali chef. After lunch, continuing the walking tour you will visit the Apple Brandy and Cider factories. You will then be taken back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Drive: 1–1.5 hours

Day 3: Chhyama Lake Trek at Nilgiri Himal You will spend this day visiting the very beautiful Chhyama Lake and Thinni Village. Starting after breakfast, you will first trek to Chhyama Lake, an alpine glacial lake, situated at the base of the Nilgiri Himal. Nilgiri Himal, composed of Nilgiri North (7061 m), Nilgiri Central (6940 m), and Nilgiri South (6839 m) is a range of three peaks in the Annapurna massif. You will hike carrying a packed lunch and have it when you reach the lake. On your return journey, you will stop at Thinni Village for a short walking tour of the village, before heading back to the lodge. After the exploration of the village, you can either choose to walk back or go by car to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Drive: 1-2 hours; Hike: 3-4 hours

Day 4: Muktinath Pilgrimage Site and Kagbeni Village You will spend this day visiting the famous pilgrimage site, the Temple of Muktinath, and the Tibetan Village, Kagbeni. Starting after breakfast, you will first drive to Muktinath to visit the Muktinath Temple (3,710m) which is considered a very sacred and major pilgrimage site to the followers of both Hinduism and Buddhism. Apart from the main temple, this temple is famous for the prakaram (outer courtyard) which has 108 sacred waterspouts shaped like bull’s head and two pools that guarantee salvation after death to anyone who takes a bath in the pool and the spouts. Therefore, if you are interested, you will have the opportunity to bathe in the pools and fountain and make a butter-lamp offering to the deities at the temple. Additionally, you will visit the famous Jwala Mai temple, where you can see the eternal flame fueled by naturally occurring gas outflow that burns just above the spring water, giving the appearance of the water itself burning. It is believed that this place hosts all five major elements (air, water, sky, fire, and earth) of the universe. You will then visit Narsingh Monastery situated north of Muktinath Temple. The monastery has a statue of Guru Padmasambhava and his friends Tibetan tantric deities Drag Po and Seng Dong. The village also provides an opportunity to take photos with Sadhus and shopping. After visiting the temple, your next destination is a very famous Tibetan Village, Kagbeni, which is also a gateway to Upper Mustang, located in the valley of the Kali Gandaki River. Walking through the narrow alley between the old mud houses decorated by colorful prayer flags, you will take a tour of this picturesque Tibetan Village. Your lunch today will be served at the Red House. The place also provides good craft shopping opportunities. After lunch and the tour, you will either drive or ride a mountain bike to get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 5: Visit Lubra, a Bon Buddhist Village One of the Mustang’s hidden treasures is Bonism, a Tibetan-born, ancient, animistic indigenous religion that incorporating Buddhism and Shamanism, mainly worships nature-based deities. Lubra, believed to have been founded in the late 12th century in the Lower Mustang area, is one of few fully Bon Villages in Nepal. The village houses only 14 families. Located almost an hour's drive from Shinta Mani Mustang, you will spend this day visiting and exploring this village experiencing the rare Bon tradition and culture. You will also visit Yungdung Phuntsok Ling very well-kept ancient Bon monastery and Gon Phuk – a small temple on the mountainside above the village that leads to the ancient medication cave on the village rock cliffs. For this, you will start after breakfast and drive to the Bon Village Valley and trek the last kilometer to the village after crossing the suspension bridge. On reaching the village, you will meet a local guide who will take you on a tour of the village and the monastery. After visiting the monastery, you will trek up the mountain to the cave monastery to learn about the 800-year history of the Bon Village and the Monastery. You will then trek back to the village for lunch. The lunch will be local in a local teashop. After lunch, you will trek to the fortress ruins to enjoy the amazing views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. You will also stop at the village apple orchard to drink fresh juice. You will then either drive or ride a mountain bike back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Drive: 2 hours | Hike: 1-2 hours

Day 6: Visit Jharkot Village and Gompa and Jhong Village You will spend this day exploring the villages of Jharkot and Jhong. Jharkot, Dzarkot, or Dzar, located at the elevation of 3519m between Kagbeni and Muktinath is a beautiful village with a rich history in the lower Mustang. The village has a very beautiful Kani (huge chhorten) and a large Shakya-Pa sect monastery. It is the main monastery of the Jharkot, Purang, and Khinga people. Ngorp is the Tibetan name of the monastery and is situated close to the ruins of the forts in Jharkot. The beautiful Jhong village is the ancient capital of the region. The village houses one of the important and largest Shakya-Pa sect monasteries, Jhong Chode Shedup Choephel Ling Gompa, established in the 16th century by Lo-Kenchen Sonam Lhundup in the Muktinath valley. You will start this day after breakfast and drive to Jharkot Gompa and have a full and detailed tour of the Gompa and the village. After the tour of this village, you will trek to the village of Jhong. Here you will explore traditional homes and village streets. A hot lunch prepared by the team will be provided on top of the monastery. Enjoy the spectacular 360-degree views of the surroundings you will have today’s lunch. After lunch, you can either drive or ride mountain bikes back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Drive: 2-3 hours; Hike: 1-2 hours

Day 7: Fly to Pokhara on Helicopter and Pokhara city tour You will spend this day exploring the attractions in Pokhara. Breakfast at the lodge and you will fly to Pokhara in a private helicopter. In Pokhara, you will check into the lodge and a car and a driver will come to pick you up for the Pokhara city tour. You will visit attractions like World Peace Pagoda, Pumdikot, David’s Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, and the Mountaineering Museum. Lunch will be arranged at one of the best restaurants around Lakeside in Pokhara. After lunch, you will explore Phewa Lake enjoy a boating trip around the lake, and visit Tal Barahi Temple. You will then be driven back to your hotel in Pokhara for an overnight stay. You can choose to have today’s dinner either at one of the lakeside restaurants or at your hotel. Day 8: Fly to Kathmandu on regular plane and Kathmandu City Tour You will spend this day exploring the attractions in Kathmandu. After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to the airport to catch your flight to Kathmandu. You will fly to Kathmandu and be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Take some time to freshen up and rest. Our city tour guide will then come to pick you up at your hotel to take you around the city. You will visit 4 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, namely, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and the Kathmandu Durbar Square. Lunch will be arranged at one of the best restaurants in Kathmandu, during the tour. After the tour, you will be dropped back at the hotel in Kathmandu for an overnight stay. Day 9: Everest Helicopter Tour-Land At The Paradise Early in the morning, as per your airport reporting time, a company representative will come to pick you up from your hotel and drop you off at the airport for the Everest Helicopter tour. After the airport formalities, you will board the helicopter and fly to Everest Base Camp in a private helicopter. Overflying base camp, the helicopter will land on Kala Patthar for 5-8 minutes allowing you to take in and capture the photographs of the highest mountain in the world Mt. Everest with other surrounding peaks. You will then fly to Kongde for breakfast with the views. After breakfast, you will fly back to Kathmandu. From the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. You can spend the remaining day at your leisure. In the evening one of the company representatives will take you for a farewell dinner at one of the finest restaurants in Kathmandu. You will then be transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.
