Amigo Treks proved to be an exceptional tour operator, displaying a remarkable degree of responsiveness and flexibility in meeting our requests. Despite the limited time we had available, they skillfully managed to accommodate everything we desired. From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu, they provided virtual door-to-door service.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Nava, the Sherpa, Kerin, the porter, and Niti, the organizer, for their unwavering friendliness and support throughout the trip. We highly recommend opting for the luxury package that includes a helicopter ride back, which is a fantastic way to save time.
Completing the trek to Everest Base Camp had been a lifelong aspiration of mine, and I was fortunate enough to achieve it alongside my companion in celebration of my 50th birthday. Amigo Trek played a significant role in not only realizing this dream but also surpassing it with flying colors. The trek operator boasts a team of seasoned professionals, including the Tour Manager, Niti, the highly experienced Guide, Navaraj, and the dependable porter, Kiran.
Their ability to anticipate our needs and swiftly adapt to any situation made for a seamless and enjoyable experience. Their attentiveness and responsiveness to our requests were particularly commendable. I would highly recommend Amigo Trek to anyone seeking an unforgettable trekking experience.
Normally we do not write reviews, though in this case, we had such a great experience that we want to praise Amigo Treks & Expedition as well as our guide Hari Adhikari.
Amigo Treks & Expedition is a professional organization with quick and clear responses to questions, as well as being available 24/7 before, during, and after the trek. They even took the time to book additional flights to Chitwan National park as well arranging shuttle pick-up and drop-offs.
Our guide Hari Adhikari was amazing. He has so much knowledge about the route, as well the environment in which we’re hiking. Hari was really caring for us. He provided us with advice on what to wear at what moment, how to protect yourself against the cold as well as how to deal with the altitude. This made the trip so much more enjoyable. Additional, Hari was able to arrange to best stays along the treks, as well as fixing broken zippers of jackets, and even carry day packs if needed.
If you decide to do beautiful trekking with Amigo Treks & Expeditions, then we would for sure advise having Hari as your guide!
I spent 26 days in Nepal and almost every minute of it was planned/coordinated by Niti and Amigo. Of course, the Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek was the big one and she set us up with our amazing guide Raj. This guy was amazing and he really did a super job taking care to make sure we were as safe and comfortable the entire way. I had friends who said you are wasting time with a guide but they must not have used a company like Amigo and a guide like Raj. I can't see how anyone would ever go without a guide or use another company. You could tell along the trek to EBC that Amigo was a very well respected name by the locals at each place we visited and this helped us have the very best experience.
We also did an elephant safari, Kathmandu city tour, and a yoga/mediation ashram. Everything was handled with excellence. Of course, they can't control the weather but next to that, they guys have extreme pull and influence to make sure everywhere you go, it will be a 5 star experience.
I highly highly recommend this company.
PS - stay at the ashram longer than you expect - it's worth it
With 3 friends we trek up the Tsum Valley supported by our guide Dawa and porters Shambu and Anil… a fantastic trip. Beautiful, fascinating,
