The Ganesh Himal Trek is a breathtaking journey through the Ruby Valley, where you'll find forests of red, pink, and pale rhododendrons at the foot of the Ganesh Himal (7422m). This trek is also an opportunity to learn about the culture of the indigenous Tamang tribe. Located in central Nepal, bordering Tibet to the north, the Ganesh Himal trek is easily accessible from Kathmandu and is one of Nepal's least-traveled trekking destinations, offering unspoiled natural beauty.

The Ganesh Himal range comprises several peaks, including Ganesh I (Yangra|7422m), Ganesh II (Lapsang Karpo|7118m), Ganesh III (Salasungo|7110m), and Ganesh IV (Pabil|7052m), and can be seen from Kathmandu. The trek's scenic trails are bordered by the Manaslu Himalayas to the west and the Langtang Ranges to the east. The region is also home to 40 species of orchids, 300 species of birds, and numerous mountains.

Amigo Treks & Expedition offers a full package for the Ganesh Himal Trek, including accommodation and meals during the trek, an English-speaking guide, private transport, and trekking permits. The package can be tailored to suit your specific requirements, budget, date of departure, or the size of your group, and you can benefit from greater discounts if you join a large group.

The trip starts with a short drive to Betrawati, located within the Langtang National Park. From there you'll gradually climb through dense forest to Bhalche, Gongga, and Rupchet. Cross the high Sing La pass (4045m) with stunning views of the Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Manaslu ranges. The trek continues through picturesque villages such as Tipling, Shertung, Syupchet, Darkha, Lapang, and Khahare before returning to Kathmandu via Arughat.
