The Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek offers an exhilarating trekking route in the eastern Himalayas of Nepal. The route is a circuit around the base of Kanchenjunga, the world's third-highest peak, and provides adventurers with mesmerizing views of the mountain and the surrounding landscape.
The journey begins in Taplejung, where trekkers get the opportunity to spend a night and acclimatize to the high altitude. The trail then leads north through the heart of the Kanchenjunga region, passing through quaint villages and farmlands. During this time, trekkers can immerse themselves in the traditional way of life of the local people and learn about their history and culture.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Welcome to Nepal. Upon your arrival, at the Tribhuvan International Airport, a company representative will meet you outside the luggage hall and transfer you to the hotel booked for you in Kathmandu, in a private vehicle. As per this package, the hotel booked for you will be 3-Star Standard and will be in Thamel. The same person will help you with hotel check-in formalities and you can spend the rest of the day either resting or strolling around the tourist hub of Thamel. This area also offers a variety of restaurants to choose from, offering both, typical Nepali and Western cuisine, where you can grab your next meal. Meals included: Nill
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour and trek preparation Kathmandu Valley, the capital, is a veritable treasure trove of unique natural, cultural, and historical sites. As a result, today we take you on a few-hour tour of Kathmandu's major attractions. After a few hours of admiring these magnificent sites, we will reconvene for a few hours to finalize your clothing and trekking equipment (down jacket, trekking boots, sleeping bags, and so on) for the trek. The night will be spent in Kathmandu at a hotel. Meals included: Breakfast
Day 3: Fly to Bhadrapur, Drive to Taplejung Your adventure continues this morning when your trekking guide picks you up and drives you to the airport for your flight to Bhadrapur. The journey will include breathtaking mountain scenery, including views of Mount Everest. Following your arrival, you'll spend the rest of the day driving to Taplejung along a narrow and rough road through the rural countryside. When you arrive, check into your hotel and rest for your first day of trekking. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 4: Trek from Taplejung to Chirwa Your first day of trekking begins with an easy walk along the Tamur River, passing through the small farming village of Mitlung. The trail climbs further towards the lovely village of Sinwa, passing the suspension bridge at Tawa on its way to Chiruwa. Set up your lodgings and spend the rest of the afternoon exploring this lovely location. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 5: Trek from Chirwa to Lelep We enter the conservation area after having our permits checked at the regional KBC park office. We will then proceed over a bridge, through a scenic subtropical landscape, and past a lovely cardamon farm until we reach Lelep. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 6: Trek from Lelep to Gyabla We'll walk through the forest trail to Solima, our day's first stop. The trail begins to ascend after Solima and can become quite difficult. We'll arrive at Amjilosa after continuing up the rocky forest trail. On this day, we will also travel to Gyabla. We walk through dense woods that are usually covered in rhododendron flowers in the spring and summer. After descending for a while, we begin to gain altitude again before arriving at the Tibetan settlement of Gyabla. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 7: Trek from Gyabla to Ghunsa After breakfast, you'll begin your half-day walk to Ghunsa. Phole, a beautiful Tibetan village, marks the halfway point of the trek, and you can stop here to explore and eat lunch before continuing to Ghunsa for the afternoon. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 8: Acclimatization Day at Ghunsa Today, rest and allow your body to adjust to the dramatic elevations of the Kanchenjunga region as you acclimate to the altitude. Ghunsa, the area's capital, has good telecommunication links and plenty of food options, making it the ideal place to rest and explore at a leisurely pace. In the afternoon, take a short walk to a nearby ridge for spectacular views of Jannu Peak. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 9: Trek from Gunsa to Kambachen Follow the trail along the river's east bank after leaving Ghunsa this morning. The trek continues past a sacred waterfall after crossing the bridge at Rumpak Kharka as you make your way toward Kambachen for the evening. The trail today may be a little difficult due to the increasing altitude, but the day is short and you'll be rewarded with spectacular views of the high peaks. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 10: Trek from Kambachen to Lhonak The trail today follows the north bank of the river, passing through Ramtang on its way to Lhonak, your final destination for the day. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 11: Day Trip to Kanchenjunga North Base Camp & Back to Lhonak Today is one of your journey's longest and most difficult days and one of the most memorable. This morning, I set out early for Pangpema, the highest point of Kanchenjunga North Basecamp. You'll be rewarded with stunning views of the valley and the surrounding peaks of Chang Himal, Kirat Chuli, and Kanchenjunga's north side from here. Because there are no lodges or teahouses in this remote location, you'll hike back to Lhonak for the evening. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 12: Trek from Lhonak to Ghunsa This morning's journey takes you mostly downhill (which isn't as easy as it sounds!) as you cross Ramtang towards your evening base in Ghunsa. You'll have the opportunity to see the Himalayas' native bharal (blue sheep) as they graze peacefully on the high slopes along the way. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 13: Trek from Ghunsa to Tseram via Sele La Pass (4290 m/14071 ft) A steep trail leads us through the woods to a trailhead with spectacular mountain views. It includes the mysterious Makalu, who sits alone on the far horizon. Today's hike is a challenging roller coaster ride on the trail. We will traverse an undulating passage over two passes, Sinon La (4646m) and Mirgin La. Everest and Makalu add to the spectacular scenery as we hike through the region until the path gradually descends to our rest stop at Tseram. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 14: Trek from Cheram to Ramche, Visit Kanchenjunga South Base Camp This morning, hike through alpine meadows and follow the lateral moraine of the Yalung Glacier. After a few hours, you'll arrive in Ramche, where you'll be greeted with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and witness the unforgettable sight of evening sunlight spreading across the snow-capped peaks. The trek from Ramche continues toward Kanchenjunga South Basecamp, where you will take a short excursion before hiking back to Ramche. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 15: Trek from Ramche to Torongding Today's route takes you through more beautiful rhododendron and pine forests before arriving at your overnight destination of Torongding. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 16: Trek from Thorongdin to Yamphuding After crossing the bridge over Simbhua Khola, you'll continue on the trail towards Lasiya Bhanjyang. Cross the river and continue trekking to the lovely Sherpa village of Yamphuding, where you will spend the night. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 17: Trek from Yamphuding to Khebang The final day of your epic trek takes you through some of the most pristine natural landscapes in the area. Pass through the picturesque villages of Brahmin and Chettries on your way to Khebang for the night. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 18: Trek from Khebang to Khamdime Today is the last day of your Kanchenjunga trekking expedition. After catching a glimpse of the Kanchenjunga range and witnessing an unforgettable sunrise over the mountains, you'll trek downhill from Khebang to Khamdime. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 19: Drive from Khamdime to Bhadrapur This morning, bid the mountains farewell as you board a bus from Khamdime to Bhadrapur. The nine-hour drive south through the rugged landscapes will give you plenty of time to reflect on your adventures. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 20: Fly to Kathmandu While the guide handles the airport formalities, you can enjoy your final breakfast in the eastern part of Nepal before flying to Kathmandu. When you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, a vehicle will be waiting to transport you to your hotel. After arriving in Kathmandu, you will check into the hotel. You can spend the remaining day either shopping or simply resting at the hotel. A company representative will meet you in the evening for a farewell dinner and feedback.
