The Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek takes you through the Everest Region to the base of one of the most beautiful Himalayas. The trek culminates with a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view from Ama Dablam Base Camp. View the summit of Mt. Everest (8848m) above the massive Nuptse-Lhotse wall.
In the local dialect, Ama Dablam means "mother's necklace." It is located east of the Everest trail and passes through picturesque Sherpa villages. Ama Dablam (6856m) is still a popular tourist destination due to its aesthetic appeal and resemblance to the Swiss alp 'Matterhorn.' It is also the third most popular permitted expedition peak. On this trip, you will also have the opportunity to explore the stunning and historical Tengboche Monastery, which is located at a sheer altitude of 3860 meters.
