The Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek takes you through the Everest Region to the base of one of the most beautiful Himalayas. The trek culminates with a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view from Ama Dablam Base Camp. View the summit of Mt. Everest (8848m) above the massive Nuptse-Lhotse wall.

In the local dialect, Ama Dablam means "mother's necklace." It is located east of the Everest trail and passes through picturesque Sherpa villages. Ama Dablam (6856m) is still a popular tourist destination due to its aesthetic appeal and resemblance to the Swiss alp 'Matterhorn.' It is also the third most popular permitted expedition peak. On this trip, you will also have the opportunity to explore the stunning and historical Tengboche Monastery, which is located at a sheer altitude of 3860 meters.

Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek by Amigo Treks & Expedition is a full-board trip package that includes all transportation and lodging during the trek. The package also includes a bed and breakfast in Kathmandu at a quality Star-rated hotel. On the trek, you will be accompanied by an English-speaking guide and experienced porters. You are also free to alter the trek itinerary as you see fit.

The trek begins with a flight to Lukla Airport and continues north towards Monjo. From here, continue through Sagarmatha National Park to Namche Bazaar. You'll deviate from the main trail and head towards Khumjung. Visit the historic Khumjung Monastery before continuing on the charming trail to Ama Dablam Base Camp. On your way to Ama Dablam Base Camp, you'll pass through the tranquil villages of Phortse and Pangboche. Before heading downhill towards Tengboche, take in the panoramic views of the scenic mountains, including Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), and Nuptse (7861m). Visit the popular Tengboche Monastery and receive blessings from the monks before returning to Lukla after a short helicopter tour to Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar.
