I chose Amigo Treks for an Everest Base Camp trek in December 2014 and couldn't be happier. Tika always corresponded promptly and made organizing my travel a breeze, and the provided sightseeing day in Kathmandu was a great way to blow out the cobwebs of long haul flying. Bikal and Bhakta, my 2 guides, were friendly and extremely professional for the entire duration of the trek. Their knowledge of the area's culture and history enriched the experience far beyond what any travel guide could do, and many happy evenings were spent playing cards together in the lodges. The guides and Sherpas genuinely went above and beyond in looking after us and making us feel at home in the mountains, and this was an experience I will look back on fondly for the rest of my life.
