Riding through the barren cliffs, ancient villages, and wide open Himalayan landscapes felt surreal, like we were part of something timeless.
The route itself was mind-blowing. Every day brought new views, new adventures, and genuine connections with locals. Lo Manthang was a highlight – the walled city felt like stepping into another world. Riding through the Kali Gandaki Gorge, crossing rivers, and passing ancient monasteries made the journey even more spiritual and enriching.
But what really made this trip special was the team. Our guide was more than just a guide – he became a friend. Always looking out for us, sharing stories, checking the bikes, and making sure we were safe and having fun. The support vehicle crew were absolute legends too – they had our backs every step of the way.
I’ve done a few motorcycle trips in different parts of the world, but this one with Amigo Treks and Expedition stands out by far. The mix of culture, adventure, raw beauty, and the personal touch from the team made this an unforgettable ride.
