Trip Name: Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

Our group of six from Canada recently completed the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra with Amigo Treks and Expedition, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the entire experience. From start to finish, the team at Amigo Treks ensured that our journey was comfortable, well-organized, and spiritually fulfilling.

The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, with a great balance of sightseeing, acclimatization, and preparation days before heading into Tibet. Our tours in Kathmandu Valley, Patan, and Bhaktapur were insightful and well-guided, giving us a deeper understanding of the region’s culture and history.

As we moved into the more challenging parts of the trip, especially the drive to Gyirong and beyond, the guides and drivers were professional and experienced, which made us feel safe throughout the journey. The highlight, of course, was the Mansarovar Parikrama and the trek to Dirapuk, which was a physically demanding but incredibly rewarding experience.

Special mention to the way Amigo Treks handled the high-altitude challenges—our acclimatization in Kyidrong was well-timed, and the team’s attention to detail made a huge difference in ensuring that we all felt healthy and prepared for the trek ahead.

The sacredness of the places we visited, especially Mansarovar and the Dolma La Pass, was beyond words. Our guides facilitated everything from Puja ceremonies to helping us through the tough spots on the trek, making this a spiritually enriching journey for each of us.

The overall logistics, accommodations, and food arrangements were excellent, and we were impressed by how seamless the entire trip felt, despite the remoteness of the locations.
