Trip Name: Everest Base Camp Trek

My boyfriend and I did the 14-Day Everest Base Camp Trek and it was a fantastic experience! They had everything covered and taken care of from the moment we landed. Our guide Jon definitely made our trip and ensured we had an authentic and enjoyable experience. Amigo Treks and Jon are experienced veterans of this trek and understand how to make sure everyone enjoys the trek. It was only my boyfriend and me with our guide Jon and Jon was truly our friend by the end of the trek. At the same time to he looked out for us and guided us on what we should and should not eat, how fast we should walk, and when to rest. We never once were sick from food or altitude and while the trek was challenging, we enjoyed every day! We saw other groups with altitude sickness and sick from food. We felt fortunate that we had Jon guiding and advising us along the way. While we thought this would be a “once in a lifetime” trip for us, we are already talking about doing more circuits and will definitely use Amigo Treks and request Jon when we return!!
