To begin, let me state that I have never written a review. But after visiting Nepal and completing the Upper Mustang Trek with Amigo Treks & Expedition, I feel compelled to write a review because Niti, Amigo's sales representative, was outstanding.
This trip has been in the works since 2019. We were apprehensive because we were four classmates who were not particularly young and had no prior experience with trekking. I spoke with Niti several times and expressed my concerns, and each time Niti reassured us.
She promised to make sure we were all safe. The trip was canceled in 2020 due to COVID. Finally, when the trip took place in May 2022, Niti delivered on all of her promises and more. Niti made certain that we all had window seats with unobstructed views of the mountains on our Everest flight which we choose to do after the trek.
Finally, while trekking, Niti considered everything to ensure our safety. She had an extra guide so that if one of us became slow or needed extra assistance, he could assist. our extra guide, carried our backpacks when we were tired, and held our hands when one of us couldn't walk. The porters were all very friendly, pleasant, and eager to help us whenever we needed it.
I see that amigo hires professionals to do the work. The trek's accommodations and food also exceeded our expectations. We had a great time on our trek, and we were only able to finish because of the team. Amigo
