Spending time in Nepal with the Amigo Treks & Expeditions crew, led by Raju, was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. We are a group of eight people who dream of trekking in Everest Base Camp for 15 days and were referred to Amigo Treks by one of my coworkers.

We were greeted by Raju when we arrived at Kathmandu airport, and he made us feel welcome. Next Niti briefed us on the trek the next morning, and our guide double-checked our equipment. He recommended gear and assisted us in purchasing our hiking equipment. We went for a welcome dinner after our full-day tour of Kathmandu, which was a memorable experience.
Our trek to Everest Base Camp was so memorable that by the end of the trip, we had a distinct impression that we were half-Nepali. Raju was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and experienced, and he was able to answer any questions that arose along the way. Our guides educated us on local history and interesting facts, and we made many Nepali friends along the way, learning a few Nepali words that made us feel half-Nepali
