Just arrived home from our Everest Base Camp Trek led by guide Suman and assistant guide Subus. I cannot say enough lovely things about them or our porters. Suman was extremely friendly but also professional, especially regarding our health and wellbeing as we faced some tough weather during the trek. He went above and beyond to look out for us, even carrying on of our trekkers bags for the majority of the day when she was unwell. He cracked jokes, helped us down tricky terrain, shared and listened as we discussed our family and culture and even taught us a new Nepalese word every day. It was amazing to have Subus as our assistant guide. There was very much a culture within the company of great service and exceeding expectations. Subus helped us along the trek, waited on us in the tea houses and carried fresh fruit the whole trek so we could have a fruit platter every night. Amigo trekkers and Tika were amazingly professional, down to earth and super organised. Tika helped us arrange things to do in Thamel after the tour and coordinated with the companies and hotels on our behalf. The trek was absolutely amazing, I don't think I'll ever be able to top the experience and views and I would strongly encourage anyone considering the trek to do it with Amigo Trekking.
