Booking experience: Was super easy/hassle-free. I was able to choose any start date for the trek, compared to other companies that force you down set start dates. This is ultimately the reason why I booked with Amigo.
Arrival/Welcome/Hotel: Was also terrific. Though my flight was delayed by an hour, Ramesh waited patiently and greeted me with a smile. The hotel that they have organised for me is good for a 3* venue and had really nice staff.
Food/Tea Houses: Was also fantastic. The tea houses we stayed at were good. They’re not 3* venues but they do the job well.
Guide and Porter: Ramesh (my guide) and Pemba (porter) are such beautiful individuals. I had such an AMAZING time throughout the whole experience because of them. These two men are assets to the company - they deserve a pay rise/promotion! Both are very kind, considerate and patient. They know the route very well and answered all questions with accuracy and confidence. I felt very confident and comfortable with their company. I’m so lucky to have had them allocated to me. They felt and acted like family throughout the entire trek.
