I completed the Everest Base Camp Trek this September along with a friend. Niether of us had undertaken anything this challenging before, or climbed above 2000m altitude in the last 5 years. The Amigo trekking company was perfect in helping us through the trek, and Kathmandu aswell, in a manner that was enjoyable and atentative. Our guide Shusil Khanal was fantastic throughout the entire trip, addressing any issues that came up.
All our accomodation, meals, and transport to/ from Lukla were seen to. Bags and gear provided as neccessary, and we were kept updated at all times. The company was very quick to identify and overcome any obstacles along the way.
Most importantly, Shusil and our porters: Deepac and Schuza, were friendly, upbeat, and informative. It was a pleasure spending the 11 days trekking with them, and it really felt like a team accomplishment when we all reached base camp.
