-The staff is highly trained, certified, super knowledgeable & friendly. The entire team dedicated to customer needs and may exceed the most of your expectations.
-My guide Dawa Tashi Sherpa was awesome. From the start he made me feel at ease and safe as his home village was on the trek route and nearly entire people we meet on trail was either his close friend or one of his relatives.
-He had a solution for every little problem or requirements. He immediately decided to join to a rescue team for a trekking group at the mountain due to bad weather in our acclimatization rest day in 5000m. He was dedicated to his and human life more than other people I have seen recently.
-It was like a walk in the Sherpa life experience. You may also consider this as Sherpa home culture tour.
The trail may be a bit difficult at the beginning if rains but It definitely took breath away with the views!
-I really enjoyed in this trip and Amigo Treks was definitely part of it as Tika arranged every steps before the travel. It was really important for me to enjoy cultural and historical part of the trip at Kathmandu at the first two days.
-Other friend, Binod Rai carried the travel bag all over the two week on difficult trails without single complaint and become my first contact for food and drink preference in lodges in trail. He was excelent young helper.
-Welcome and final dinners in fine places in Kathmandu attended by Company representative Tika ensures improvement opportunities with the services they provide (fortunately no need for improvement at my experience).
If you are tea or coffee addicted bring your own tea bags / coffee or mention to Tika or guide before leaving Kathmandu. You may not find dark black tea in lodges since Nepalese people likes very light tea without long brewing time.
I would like to support a Nepalese company and responsible trekking. Post earthquake, I truly believe that Nepal is ready to welcome tourism and Rebuilding Nepal by supporting locals by visiting and trekking.
