I recently booked the Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Amigo Treks based on their stellar reviews and I was not disappointed! Tika responded quickly to my many inquiries prior to my arrival and even had a member of his staff personally take me to a store in Kathmandun to purchase a rain coat and new boots. The Trek guide Bikal even arranged for my wife and I to have dinner for her birthday in town before I left. My guide Bikal and the porter Manu arranged everything for me including picking me up from the hotel, getting bus tickets, hotel in Pokhara, etc. I did not have to think about a single thing except for choosing meals and enjoying the stunning backdrop of the Annapurnas. The food was tasty and filling and Bikal made sure that we were sufficiently hydrated and the timing of the breaks.were perfect. Our Porter Manu carried 3 bags tied together with rope in a configuration almost larger than his body! He never once complained and always had a big smile on his face. I simply cannot say enough good things about Bikal and Manu! From start to finish, the journey was incredible and I would recommend Amigo Treks to anyone who wants to hike to the Annapurna Base Camp. Hopefully I will be able to use their services again to tackle Everest Base Camp!
