My friend and I booked our 8 day Poonhill Trek with Amigo Treks and found dealing with Tika very easy. He was extremely professional, communication was excellent and i heard back from him very quickly. We were met on arrival by our amazing guide Bikal at the airport, taken to wonderful accommodation that we could not fault, met Tika to discuss last minute details before setting off the following day. We are really impressed as the whole trip ran so smoothly even during the petrol crisis in Nepal. Tika and Bikal ensured all transport was arranged and went the extra mile to ensure our trip ran to our itinerary. Both Bikal (our guide) and Promod our super Sherpaman were amazing the whole trip. They ensured we had enough water, food (which was amazing), were healthy and happy throughout the trek. The teahouses were all of great standard, basic but clean, comfortable and with delicious food. They were both extremely professional and Bikal was very knowledgeable about the area, culture, language, other Nepalese treks and made amazing recommendations for restaurants, shopping and helped plan future trekking routes. As two females travelling we felt safe the entire time and were so impressed with Tika and his team we are already planning another trip back with family and friends next year. We could not fault Amigo Treks and would highly recommend to anyone considering trekking in Nepal- 5 stars!!
