Trip Name: Everest Base Camp Trek

In April 2015 we, a German couple, made a trekking tour to the EBC with AMIGO Adventures from Kathmandu. In our first stage of planning we looked for some German tour operators for booking this trip. But finally we decided to choose a local office because we like to go the direct way of organization.

After some investigation we requested information from some different Kathmandu tour operators. First and very fast reply came from AMIGO. Furthermore AMIGOs proposal fitted best into our considerations and was absolutely reasonable in price. So finally we organized a flight to Kathmandu and booked accordingly our EBC trekking tour with AMIGO tours.

From this point we had nothing other to do than just arrive in Kathmandu. Rest of all organizing activities was in the hands of AMIGO. Despite of some trouble with the incoming flight and a big delay communication with AMIGO was possible all the time so that pick-up service from airport at new arrival time worked perfect.

After arrival we had a briefing in AMIGO office where we met our tour guide first time. Next morning he brought us to domestic airport, organized all check-in activities and our adventure began. Our guide gave us clear direction for a successful trekking to EBC (good acclimatization and avoiding of alcohol). In LUKLA also we met out porter who took care for our luggage all the time of our tour. We experienced a 24 hour service from AMIGO team in all organizational details (accommodation in different lodges and serving always with the best food) during our tour.

So finally we reached our target, the EBC, with success in a perfect condition. The way back in very difficult weather condition was supported absolute careful by our guide. At the end we reached Lukla without any issues and had a little party with AMIGO team.

After returning to Kathmandu AMIGO organized a very interesting sightseeing tour through the city and we had a dinner with office director in one of the best restaurants in Katmandu. For our last day AMIGO proposed some activities like a tour to Bhraktapur.

So all the time we had the feeling that we were in good hands. Everything was organized perfectly and we had take care for nothing than our personal belongings.
