The Helambu Trek, located in Nepal's Langtang region, is a short yet exceptional trek in the mid-hills, closest to the capital, Kathmandu Valley. It is a diverse trek, offering a blend of nature and culture, and is well-known for its hospitality. In just 10 days, you can experience the magnificent view of Annapurna, Manaslu, Langtang, and Dorje Lakpa, green forests of rhododendron, pine, oak, and bamboo, imposing waterfalls, and pristine little settlements, as well as the lifestyles, cultures, and traditions of Tamang, Sherpa, Brahmin, and Chhetri people.

To start the Helambu Trek, you will need to take an hour-long car ride to Sundarijal, the trek's starting point. The trek continues through Kutumsang, Tharepati, Melamchi Village, Sermathang, and Melamchi Bridge, and ends with a bus ride back to Kathmandu. The maximum altitude achieved during the trek is 3,690m (Thadepati Pass), and the largest settlement is Melamchi Village, which has the main Tibetan Gompa.

Amigo Treks and Expedition offers a 10-day Helambu Trek itinerary that is perfectly designed to provide an enjoyable experience in the Helambu region. However, the package can be customized to suit your needs, requirements, budget, and the number of days you plan to stay in Nepal. All Helambu Trek packages come with a 100% departure date guarantee and special group discounts. Full board is provided during the trek, and bed and breakfast are included before and after the trek. You will stay in tourist standard hotels in Kathmandu and some of the finest lodges and guesthouses during the trek. Each package also includes a free map!

It’s a moderate trek, which can be attempted by anyone who is physically fit and has sound health.
