Short Annapurna Circuit Trek

just arrived from Annapurna Circuit Trek with amigo. had a great time at the mountains with the help of the guide Kishor and the porter Amit. They were there for me 24 hours a day, helping out and making sure I was okay. Just want to thank them and recommend Amigo company and them. Thanks Tika, Kishor and Amit again !!

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

We were wondering which company to book with to the the Annapurna Base Camp trek in March/April. We sent out 5 emails to 5 different trekking companies, and Amigo Treks & Expedition stood out from the beginning. The follow-up prior to coming to Nepal was very informative, extremely helpful and prompt. Our guide's name was Rajan and he was very knowledgeable, experienced and helpful. We always felt safe and comfortable in the teahouses where everything went great! Raj always put us in the mood and was a great leader and motivator! Our porter Promod was always a very reliable and sweet guy, we were very lucky on every front. I highly recommend this company and I also recommend that you ask for Raj as a guide! Annapurna Base Camp Trek 10 Days

We organised the trip with the manager Tika. He was helpful and quick to respond to questions via email. We requested a private trek (2 of us) and this was no problem for Amigo. The trek itself was amazing, we got a large snow dump after 3 days, the guide (Rishi) knew exactly which areas to avoid for avalanches and was well versed on alternate routes, he was always making sure we were ok. The porter (Umesh, aka "superman") stayed with us for most of the time and was ever helpful. Shared accomodation was meant for the higher altitude tea houses, but a private room was arranged for us every night. Rishi provided fruit for us after every meal, which was very nice! I would have no hesitation in recommending Amigo trekking to anyone. thanks for a truly memorable trip.

Short Everest Base Camp Trek

Amazing! Trekked over 12 days to Everest base camp and had a great time due to the people at Amigo Treks and Expedition. They were so caring, always making sure our food arrived on time, our rooms were ready when we arrived in each town, we had enough safe drinking water each day, that our luggage was well looked after etc. They were so organised, providing sleeping bags and down jackets, picking us up in Kathmandu and taking us to the airport and organising our flight to Lukla. By the end of our trip, our guide, my dad and I had become very close, sharing jokes and getting each other's humour. Overall I cannot imagine doing this trip and not having this company to assist us. Highly highly highly recommend. You'll be well looked after! Shoutout to our guide Rajan Poudyal. You made our experience so enjoyable.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek 10 Days

Namaste! Me and my friends joined the Amigo Treks and Expedition for the 8-day Annapurna Base Camp Trek and we had a wonderful time spending with the crew along the journey. The crew members including the trekking guide, oxygen guide and the porters are all very friendly and kind in person. We were having some bad time due to unfit condition of our team member but the guide gave us different kind of advises and discussion in order to let all the members achieve the target. All the team members made it to the ABC Base Camp on the schedule time and we were all very happy. I recommend our guide: Navaraj Magar. He speaks good english and very helpful Also thanks to the oxygen guide and porters: -Ranjan -Nabaraj -Mama -Baje Amigo Treks & Expedition is definitely a right choice for your trekking exploration in Nepal.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

As first time trekkers we really did not know what to expect and was first attracted to this site due to the extent of the reviews and the fact that the company is based and run by Nepaliese (Tika) We booked the 8 day Annapurna Base Camp trek (23rd Nov +) and was very well informed and organised from the start, the whole team delivered 100% We would like to thank Tika, Dinesh Lamichhane our Guide and Shunda our porter for making the trip fun and memorable; who as well as excellent organisational and communication skills made everything seem efortless and adapted to meet our needs. The Trek was as described but far exceeded our expectations as far a natural beauty, flora and fauna! I cannot see why anyone would pay more when all of the accomodation and food within the sanctury is restricted and made standard (for hygiene and logistical reasons). there is no first class...! but accomodation is clean and tidy with amazing views and communal dining which gives you a chance to meet others who are all in the same boat! You do need to be fairly fit for this and need to have put in some effort in advance.. up to 7 hours trekking a day with some long sweaty accents... but soooooo worth it! If you are still reading this.... What are you waiting for... BOOK IT! Thank you once again and hope to see you again Amigo's. Ross & Snowy - (40 yrs ish)

Everest Base Camp Trek For Indian

This is my second trekking trip in Nepal, and compare with the previous trip, AMIGO have show us how professional they are, and they have provided us the best of everything, in term of services, accommodation, and attitude. Anyway, I could like to special thanks to our tour guide, Bikal Duwadi, and his teams, the best tour guide that I ever have. I hope everyone will get the chance to have him as the tour guide and agree with me on the best tour guide part. Cheers!

I would absolutely recommend Amigo Treks &Expedition to my friends without hesitation. Our trek guide Mr. Nava, asst Mr. Ranjan, Sherpa/Porter :Nabaraj ,Mama ,Baje always provide great mountain service with a smile .Especially Our treks guide Mr. Nava are extremely professional, experienced, responsible and friendly. They were great companions during the 8 days long treks. We couldn't made it to Annapurna Base Camp without them. Amigo Team became our great friends on the trip. We 100% satisfied & appreciated. Short Everest Base Camp Trek

Myself and my girlfriend take part of Everest Base Camp short trek (12 days) with very high satisfaction. From the beginning during the planning of the trip Mr Tika support us with very reactive answer and information. Our Guide Himal has been very patience and give us all the best support during the trek, with the food, with all the needed information and trying to be always sure we had enough blanket and our rooms were fine. Always give us best support also once we felt a bit of altitude sickness and also after the trek help us to get the right airport entrance and direction in order to get our international flight to go back to Italy. Special thanks also to Mon who helped us carrying our big bags always with a smile and some grilled corn to share during the trek. Without those two guys our experience for sure wont’ be so much great as it has been. Again thank you Amigo Treks team, happy to have share this experience with you and for sure when and if we will back to Nepal or Tibet we look forward to get you support again! Thankful to have Nava and his team with us on our 7 day trek to Annapurna basecamp. During our journey trekking up, Nava never hesitates to share stories and pointing out the various mountains to us..love all the stories, jokes, adventures and experiences that he shared with us over our meals or tea time! He is a great story teller..somehow you'll just wanna listen to him when he speaks. Definitely a down to earth man with big dreams and a big heart. We are incredibly blessed to have him as our guide during this hiking trip..he constantly check on us, making sure that we are well physically, whether we have sufficient clothing etc..😊😊😊 I was experiencing intense cramps on the day when we are reaching the Annapurna basecamp, hence I was walking at "tortoise" pace. Yet, he didn't rush me but simply encouraged me" It's okay, Bistari, Bistari.." Bistari means slowly slowly in Nepali..😊 I was ultraaaa bistari during a couple of days but Navaraj just follow behind me step by step, ensuring my safety and well-being. Thank you Nava! Couldn't be more grateful to have you guiding and helping us with all the lodging & preparations! Definitely recommend Nava and his team to those are looking to join a trekking trip!

Annapurna Base Camp Trek 10 Days

We just completed our 8 day trek to Annapurna Base Camp with Amigo Treks and we counted ourselves extremely lucky to have Nava as our guide! Booking with the company was smooth from the very start. Tika was very helpful with our enquires and he responded very promptly. Even thought I asked a lot of questions before I finally made my booking, he was always patient and answered all my questions clearly. It was this kind of customer service and attention to detail that made me decide to book with Amigo Treks eventually...and after meeting & chatting with many other trekkers who booked with other companies during the trek, I was even more happy that I decided to go with Amigo! Highlights: - We often get to stay at one of the top teahouses among the selection at our stop. Given that the nature of the teahouses were rather basic during the entire ABC trek, I appreciated the fact my guide Nava took the effort to select the few hotels/teahouses with hot water for the first few days - While many other trekking companies also include meals in their trekking package, we were the only trekking group that had meals provided WITH A PLATE OF FRUITS EVERYDAY! I know these things seems simple but during the trek, it was such a luxury! You could literally see other people's heads turning when our guide serve us our plate of fruits. I witness this twice personally and we even had 2 people who came up to ask which company we've booked with and why we always have pomegranates, bananas and apples after our meals! On a personal note, the plate of fruits were very helpful and I appreciated it even more so as we got nearer to base camp as I was losing my appetite due to the high altitudes and the sweet fruits were the only thing I find myself having the appetite to swallow. Special mention to our amazing guide Nava: (Request for him if you get the opportunity to, because it would be the best thing that can happen to you during your trek!) He took very good care of us throughout the entire treks through the small little things he did... - He will always walk behind the slowest member of our group and pay extra attention to them. As I was trekking with my wife who walks at a slower pace, this is a fact that I appreciate very much. - At the base camp, he kept making it a point to let us know where we can find him during the night. This was particularly important when one of my team members had a splitting headache at 4am. We were super thankful for his help and his medication. - When we have Nava as our guide, he always bring us to all the special "attractions" about each place. For example, when we were at the base camp, he brought us out to witness the beautiful sunset on Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) mountain while other guides and guests were huddling in the teahouse. The next morning, he brought us out to see the spectacular sunrise on Annapurna 1 even before the rest of the other people arrived. Even though other people were on the same trek and same route as us, it felt like we had a more comprehensive version of the Annapurna Base Camp trek because of our guide! - He also gave us inside tips on each teahouse along the way such as, which teahouse had great hot showers, which teahouse had slow wifi so that we won't spend our money unwisely. - After the entire trip has ended, he even brought me to a trekking shop during one of his free days as I mentioned to him that I want to buy a down jacket to bring back home! That's great service that I completely didn't expect! Also, the team of porters that trekked with us were wonderful as well. Nabajar (our assistant guide), Deepak and Sudip. These guys made sure that our bags always arrived at the teahouse on time. We are extremely appreciative of them for that. All in all, if I'm going to do another trekking trip in Nepal, I'm definitely going to go with Amigo. They truly give you a first class trekking experience!

Everest Base Camp Trek

I'd gone through a very bad experience on my last trek to Lantang in year 2014. The mountain guide neither the assistant guide were not responsible and never track where we were, as they just hiked with their own speed. This trek to EBC I'm very prudent and make sure we get a good trekking center. I got Amigo trek from Facebook, and I kept on empathize to Mr. Tika about the guides and porters. He was really a responsive boss with fast email reply to all my questions. We were lucky and grateful to get Mr. BIKI as our Super guide and Mr. MANU as our assistant guide. Our porters Hari, Ram, Chandra, and Narayan. All of them are caring and helpful, besides that they are really friendly and answer to all our questions. We really appreciated the hard work from the guides and porters, they have done a good job, I'm highly recommended Amigo trek if you are looking for a trekking agency. This was an amazing trek and memories for our whole group! Thank you to Amigo trek. Namaste
