Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Our group of 5 decided to embark on the Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Amigo Treks based on the cost and reviews online, and we now are satisfied customers ourselves! Everything was seamless and fuss-free from the start: communication with Tika, meeting Tika & our guide Nava the day before the trek, and throughout the entire 8-day trek. I will like to specially commend Nava for his attentiveness and professionalism. We have no problem communicating in English. As an experienced guide he possessed knowledge of the various treks through Nepal, accurate information on how much longer we have to walk for the day and encouraged us each step of the way. He ensured we felt okay and were well-fed. I had a bad headache in the middle of the night at base camp and Nava didn't mind me waking him up for some medication. Even after the trek he assisted with accommodation at Pokhara when we decided last minute to extend our stay, made our bus bookings and met us on his off-day back in Thamel to bring us shopping for some gear! Our team of porters were excellent as well; Sudip and Deepak were full of energy and smiles, and made sure we have our backpacks at the end of each day. Nabaraj as an assistant guide was also excellent, walking with us and helping with meal orders. The rapport among the entire team was good and we had much fun and laughter sharing snacks, stories and mingling! Thank you Amigo Treks, we are glad to have made it to base camp with this team and when we are back in Nepal for more trekking we would be looking forward to share the adventure with Nava, Nabaraj, Sudip and Deepak again!

Annapurna Base Camp Trek 10 Days

Our group of 5 recently completed our ABC trek with Amigo and were introduced to our guide Nava. He is a knowledgable guide that speaks good English and also shared with us many things about Nepal and also the trek. It was interesting to learn about his experiences. Nava took good care of us when some of us had altitude sickness at ABC. Accomodations arranged for us was always the best. During our booking correspondence, Tika was very prompt in his replies and accomodating to our requests. Thank you Amigo and Tika for such a wonderful experience in Nepal!

Best Trip of My Life! Words do not adequately describe how amazing this trip was. Amigo Trek - Tika Regmi, my guide Navaraj Magar, my Sherpa Roman Koirala worked hard in providing a high level of personal services upon arrival to Kathmandu and throughout the entire trek. This is a 5 star company at value pricing. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and I plan on booking with them again next year. These men are very knowlegeble and share their knowledge along the trek...........I learned so much in such a short time. I fell in love with the Himalaya Mountains, the people and the culture. Do not hesitate.........book this as life is way too short and a trip like this will change you in many positive ways. Thank you Tika, Navaraj, and Roman!

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

I went on a solo trip via Amigo treks and my guide was Himal while my porter was Basantha. Tika helped out prior the trip where he replied on whatsapp promptly. Himal and Basantha were really courteous and helpful. they ensure on my safety and always remind on my belongings plus took good care of my lodgings, meals and give a lot of knowledge on the route we are taking. highly recommend both of them. didnt rush and we went on our own phase while experience one of the best scenic landscape of snow capped sacred mountains along the trek. I really enjoyed it.

I honestly could not fault my experience, everything about it was perfect. I came across this experience with no expectations other than wanting to achieve base camp so I could cross it off my bucket list. It turned out to be an experience that I will cheerish both friendships and memories forever. The fabulous team of porters; Gokarna, Shujan and Harim and guides; Shusil and Manu made my experience the best possible. They were very professional and knowledgable of the trek and mountains and if I was to do another trek I would want the very same team, as I know I would recieve only the best. I would certainly choose Amigo Treks and Expeditions again. Thank you for the best two weeks I could have asked for.

Mera Peak Climbing

Look no further, this is probably the best company... I highly recommend Amigo Treks for your trek or climbing dream in Himalayas. I completed Mera Peak Climb in September 2016. -The arrangement from Pick-up to returning to airport at the end extremely well managed. -The staff is highly trained, certified, super knowledgeable & friendly. The entire team dedicated to customer needs and may exceed the most of your expectations. -My guide Dawa Tashi Sherpa was awesome. From the start he made me feel at ease and safe as his home village was on the trek route and nearly entire people we meet on trail was either his close friend or one of his relatives. -He had a solution for every little problem or requirements. He immediately decided to join to a rescue team for a trekking group at the mountain due to bad weather in our acclimatization rest day in 5000m. He was dedicated to his and human life more than other people I have seen recently. -It was like a walk in the Sherpa life experience. You may also consider this as Sherpa home culture tour. The trail may be a bit difficult at the beginning if rains but It definitely took breath away with the views! -I really enjoyed in this trip and Amigo Treks was definitely part of it as Tika arranged every steps before the travel. It was really important for me to enjoy cultural and historical part of the trip at Kathmandu at the first two days. -Other friend, Binod Rai carried the travel bag all over the two week on difficult trails without single complaint and become my first contact for food and drink preference in lodges in trail. He was excelent young helper. -Welcome and final dinners in fine places in Kathmandu attended by Company representative Tika ensures improvement opportunities with the services they provide (fortunately no need for improvement at my experience). If you are tea or coffee addicted bring your own tea bags / coffee or mention to Tika or guide before leaving Kathmandu. You may not find dark black tea in lodges since Nepalese people likes very light tea without long brewing time. I would like to support a Nepalese company and responsible trekking. Post earthquake, I truly believe that Nepal is ready to welcome tourism and Rebuilding Nepal by supporting locals by visiting and trekking.

Ghorepani Poonhill Trek

From the time I started researching on my trip to Poon Hill, Amigo was already quick to respond to my queries. My guide Navaraj was very easy to get along & extremely professional in conducting the trip, always ensuring my needs were taken care of throughout the trek. My trip was a bit more expensive as it included a porter, Vishnu, who was also very reliable in ensuring my belongings were carried safely from point to point. Overall, I had a great experience with Amigo, and would definitely recommend to anyone heading to the Himalayas!

Everest Base Camp Trek

A brilliant company. Decent accommodation (as good as you could expect in such remote places) and food better than expected for the most part. We were really well looked after by our guide Biki and his two assistants. Especially when someone wasn't feeling well - they helped them out and made sure they were safe and well enough to continue. Amazing scenery, an incredible experience and didn't have to plan anything once we arrived in Kathmandu as Amigo looked after everything - thanks Tika and Dinesh!

Annapurna Base Camp Trek 10 Days

I recently booked the Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Amigo Treks based on their stellar reviews and I was not disappointed! Tika responded quickly to my many inquiries prior to my arrival and even had a member of his staff personally take me to a store in Kathmandun to purchase a rain coat and new boots. The Trek guide Bikal even arranged for my wife and I to have dinner for her birthday in town before I left. My guide Bikal and the porter Manu arranged everything for me including picking me up from the hotel, getting bus tickets, hotel in Pokhara, etc. I did not have to think about a single thing except for choosing meals and enjoying the stunning backdrop of the Annapurnas. The food was tasty and filling and Bikal made sure that we were sufficiently hydrated and the timing of the breaks.were perfect. Our Porter Manu carried 3 bags tied together with rope in a configuration almost larger than his body! He never once complained and always had a big smile on his face. I simply cannot say enough good things about Bikal and Manu! From start to finish, the journey was incredible and I would recommend Amigo Treks to anyone who wants to hike to the Annapurna Base Camp. Hopefully I will be able to use their services again to tackle Everest Base Camp!
