Short Everest Base Camp Trek

Very Impressed! We just completed the Short Everest Base camp Trek. It was very well organised. The accomodation and food was really good. Bhim our guide went above and beyond ensuring that we were well looked after and safety was a priority. Our flights got cancelled in Lukla and he arranged a helicopter to get us back to Kathmandu. On arrival Tikka at the Amigo office organised refunds for flight tickets without hesitation. Very professional organisation. I will use them again when I return to Nepal. Highly recommended.

Ultimate Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek

We just returned from an Amigo Customized Ultimate Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek from Kathmandu to the Everest View Hotel starting September 26, 2018. Due to David's minor heart conditiion we were not able to go all the way to Base Camp so Niti Sharma designed the perfect package for us including all we wanted to do.The trip was fabuous and the care was impeccable. Starting with our planning and booking with Niti in the Kathmandu, to our guide Ramish and our porter, Khadga. The trip was everything we dreamed of and more. They were particularly calming and caring when we ran into a couple of hiccups. The first of which I contracted traveler's diarreha while Trekking from Phaking to Namche Bazaar. Ramish took excellent care of me and worked with the staff at Yeti Mountain Lodge to assure my well-being and swift return to the Trek. After only one day down we continued on the journey to the Everest View Hotel. While there the weather grew uncooperative, but Niti, Ramish, and the General Manager of the Hotel were able work with a helicopter company to insure that we missed none of what we had planned to accomplish. Thsi was an awesome experience created by Niti, Ramish, and the entire Amigo crew.

I just completed the 12 Day Everest Base Camp Trek with Amigo on November 1, 2018. My trip was fantastic! All thanks to Neeti and the Amigo Support Staff who organized the trek in a meticulous and professional manner. Additionally, I would like to sincerely thank Durga our Guide who did a splendid job on the trek, whether it was walking us through the "Nepalese flats, ups and downs" or managing the food three times a day or catering to each of the team members. I strongly recommend him for the EBC trek, if one is booking through Amigo. Kudos Durga!!!

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Excellent company and would highly recommend anyone traveling to ABC to book with them! Me and my friend just completed ABC trek in first week of November and whole trek was fantastic. Would like to thanks Neeti as she was helpful and courteous and big thank you to Suman our guide and Jeevan our porter. Suman looked after our every need and exceeded our expectations.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek 10 Days

Me and my boyfriend did this trip in late September. The views were breathtaking, especially the sunrises. Definitely recommend this trip to anybody who likes trekking, even without further trekking experience. This trip is totally worth the physical effort! We were quite surprised by the quality of accommodation and food even in higher altitudes. Our Guide Kishur and Porter Raju did everything to make this 7 day hike a comfortable and exciting experience. We felt well looked after at all times and learned a lot about local customs and nature. We would definitely do this trip again with Kishur and Raju as their company enriched our experience on the trek.

Booking experience: Was super easy/hassle-free. I was able to choose any start date for the trek, compared to other companies that force you down set start dates. This is ultimately the reason why I booked with Amigo. Arrival/Welcome/Hotel: Was also terrific. Though my flight was delayed by an hour, Ramesh waited patiently and greeted me with a smile. The hotel that they have organised for me is good for a 3* venue and had really nice staff. Food/Tea Houses: Was also fantastic. The tea houses we stayed at were good. They’re not 3* venues but they do the job well. Guide and Porter: Ramesh (my guide) and Pemba (porter) are such beautiful individuals. I had such an AMAZING time throughout the whole experience because of them. These two men are assets to the company - they deserve a pay rise/promotion! Both are very kind, considerate and patient. They know the route very well and answered all questions with accuracy and confidence. I felt very confident and comfortable with their company. I’m so lucky to have had them allocated to me. They felt and acted like family throughout the entire trek.

I am a solo traveller. I was worried about this trip as I pushed out my trip from Easter to Aug due to my back issue. However Aug was monsoon season and the trekking may be difficult. When I arrived Kathmandu, Tika explained the trip details and expected weather condition. He is friendly, professional, patient and fast response (email) . During 8 days trek, I went with Ranjan (tour guide) and Gopal (porter). They know the trek very well and told me what I need to pay attention to next 2-3 hours trek (up/down/ lots of bridges/ pay attention to leeches etc). We walked like a “sandwish” and I was always in the middle which they tried their best to make sure my safety. In some areas which have a lot of leeches, they put salt on my shoes and checked my shoes, trekking pole, pants every 2 mins to ensure I am “leeches free” (I am serious. They did this!) I was well protected and I didn’t get any leeches bite even in monsoon season. Thanks Ranjan and Gopal! When I arrived base camp, I had headache. They always checked my condition, reminded me to wear enough clothes and drank water. I was being taken good care of. since I travelled alone, they did respect me a lot. They are willing to teach me Nepali. I had a wonderful trekking experience. I am so lucky to trek with them. Definitely I will come to Nepal again (EBC 😌) and will join Amigo! I don’t know how to express my gratitude. Really thanks for Tika, Ranjan and Gopal.

I just got back from a 3 week trip in Nepal where I hiked successfully to mount Everest base camp! I used Amigo Treks because it was the only company in Nepal that had good reviews and a good price. I was not let down. Amigo Treks is amazing and Tika is the guy to know when you are in trouble he runs this company and has lots of clout with the locals. I did the trek with the Kathmandu day tour which was nice. The guide was excellent. And Niti was very good at explaining things. Niti booked me another trip to Chitwan for us when we got back. I have never experienced such a personal touch when it comes to tour groups. Everyone was professional and we were taken very good care of from the Airport to the Airport. All you have to do is pay them and show up. I am so happy I chose Amigo and got to work with Tika Niti and Gokarna. I made it to EBC which was the only thing I wanted to do. I got altitude sickness after EBC and Tika was able to get me out with a helicopter after the cut off.

I have recently returned from an amazing trip to Everest Base Camp with Amigo Trekking. We decided on Amigo trekking for our EBC trek after researching different trekking companies. Tika from Amigos was always very prompt with answering our many questions. Our group of five arrived in Kathmandu to be met at the airport by our guide Khem Regmi. The following day we met with both Khem and Tika who went over our itinerary for the EBC trek and some pre and post trek activities in Kathmandu. We were provided with advice on avoiding attitude sickness and general trekking tips. We were lucky to have terrific weather during our trek and we followed the advice given by Amigos none of the group suffered any sickness. Our guide Khem was fantastic keeping a watch on our condition, organising meals, educating us on Nepal and teaching us many new card games… At the end of the trek low cloud cover delayed flights out of Lukla airport and the Amigos expertise came in really useful for organising alternate travel arrangements. In summary the EBC trek is a trip of a lifetime. The all-inclusive Amigos trek package is good value. We found the tea houses and food to be of a good standard and the service supplied by Amigos exceptional. Thanks to Amigos, Tika, Khem and our porters for a fantastic trip and the wonderful memories.

Short Everest Base Camp Trek

Great 10 day trek with Hari and Issoor. It was tough but definately worth it. We had great weather which made for spectacular views throughout the trip. We were impressed with the smooth logistics in the tea houses so high up in the mountains. The hot shower in Namche was very much appreciated!

Did the everest base camp trip on 3 april 2018 with a mate and 3 others whom i didnt know at the time and will now be life long friends with . I cannot rate amigo highly enough , all our needs were taken care of above and beyond what was expected. Hamil and his team of supporters on the trek were just unbelievable and i will never forget there beautiful nature and unstoppable support and friendleness that made such a successful trek for all 5 of us to achive.. Yes we all made base camp and back , it was hard and challenging at times. But would not have been so successful without this great team of dedicated employeees and people i will always hold dear for there commitment to our safety and wellbeing on our trek of a lifetime , 5 stars are not enough for this review , dont use anyone else ...
