I'm just heading home after completing the Everest base camp trek. it has been an outstanding experience in so many different ways. From the outset, Amigo was very organized professional and accommodating. The trip was made so much more successful by the way the Guide and porter worked so hard to fix up any problems or change plans to better suit our needs. Bhoj Kumar was the guide such a good guy making every effort to support and give me the best experience, also was Pemba lama the porter if you planning to make the trip i would absolutely make sure you have these two guys with you they have made the trip one that I will remember for a very long time.

Everest Base Camp Trek

WOW, Where do I start? I have wanted to do this trek for about 30 years, so when we decided to book we compared many trekking companies to decide who to go with and #AmigoTrekking scored the best and they certainly lived up to expectations. We had an amazing journey far better than our wildest dreams. There were a few reasons why our trip was so good and here's why. Prior to the Journey: AMIGO Trekking were so professional prior to the journey, answering my numerous emails in the leadup in regards to gear requirements, weight of rental gear and logistics. We communicated with Niti regularly and she always got back to me within 24 hours. This is very important when trying to plan such a trip. Amigo and Niti were also the only company that effortlessly accommodated our desire to extend our stay in Tengboche to attend the festival at the monastery. (November) Once we arrived: We were greeted at the airport by a very friendly and professional mountain guide 'Hari Adhikari' who immediately helped us navigate our exit from the airport making a very chaotic situation easy. We felt like royalty. Little did we know at that point just how much this one man would shape our trek into the amazing journey it became. For the next 14 days Hari was by our side perfectly pacesetting our speed for success. He steered us to quality tea houses with the best food for breaks, negotiated the best rooms for us every night and even showed us the best spots for pictures along the way. His experience and cheery disposition was very visible with every interaction he had. He seemed to be best friends with every guide, porter and tea house owner we passed. Hence we nicknamed him 'Happy Hari'. No task was too big or small and he made a point of letting us know where he'd be every night (his room number, tent or dining room) in case we needed him. He was not only the main reason for our successful completion of the Trek, but added many enjoyable moments for us as well. If you are lucky enough to have Hari as your guide, make sure you take a pack of UNO cards with you. Hari loves the game! Along with Hari we were also lucky to have on our team an amazing young man Chandra (Sandra) who was our super human porter. He too always wore a smile, even when lugging our bags over rock after rock! Thanks mate, we don't know how you do it. If we can impart one thing we've learned that will make your Trek in Nepal memorable. It's go with Amigo and insist on Hari and Chandra. You won't regret it! Thanks guys, we are forever grateful.

Gokyo Valley Trek

First of all we'd like to thank Amigo Treks & Expedition - and especially and above all Niti Sharma for the perfect organization of our trip. She was so helpful in adjusting the trip to our wishes and requirements, always patient and communicative, even when we had to reschedule to whole expedition by half a year. Arriving to Nepal everything was prepared, everything worked out as it should and the whole team was more than friendly and helpful - overall very professional. On the tour itself, well, what can we say: Hari Adhikari: He's been such an excellent guide for us. Intelligent and funny, leading us from Kathmandu via Lukla onto the Gokyo Trail up to Gokyo Ri. We couldn't complain about anything. Every single day Hari Adhikari was in best mood, hiking with us from 2.700m up to 5.357m - always being there for us, answering all our questions, organizing everything we asked for. Everyone did his best so we could concentrate on the beauty of the nature, the hiking, the landscape and the amazing people that we've met on the trek. Special thanks also to our three porters Issur, Manut and Shandra! We cannot imagine how they did that. Carrying all the luggage up to almost 5.000m: You are incredible! Thank you! We'll hopefully come back soon!

Ultimate Luxury Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan Tour

Travel Group: Amigo Treks and Expeditions, Nepal Treks & Expeditions: Ultimate Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek (13 Days) Ultimate Luxury Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan Tour (9 Days) Dates: September 14th โ€“ October 2nd 2019 Our Overall Score: 9.5 out of 10.0 Relevant Details: Internet presence and information was accurate with useful details. Signup and payment process was straightforward. Email and inquiry were promptly responded to. Upon landing, met at airport by our guide and driver in a very nice 4-wheel drive vehicle. From the time we arrived, through every detail of every day, to the time we left, we had a guide with us to navigate all the details. Did not have to think or figure anything out on our own. The mountain accommodations were the best available as promised. All other accommodations of the tour, Dwarikaโ€™s in Kathmandu, The Pavilions in Pokhara and Taj Safari in Chitwan were incredible. To close, it is important to understand that Nepal for this time of year was experiencing weather patterns that they had not experienced in recent history, causing significant delays in all of our domestic flight travel. Amigo was a great partner navigating these issues. At the end, they succeeded. I commend the team, Niti (Niti was our travel planner), Dinesh and Pika! Thank you Khem and Chetan for a safe mountain trek! Great driving by our driver Sagar. Thank you Sushma for a great Nepal tour and thank you for letting us meet your family, wonderful people!

Everest Base Camp Deluxe Trek With Helicopter Ride

I spent 26 days in Nepal and almost every minute of it was planned/coordinated by Niti and Amigo. Of course, the Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek was the big one and she set us up with our amazing guide Raj. This guy was amazing and he really did a super job taking care to make sure we were as safe and comfortable the entire way. I had friends who said you are wasting time with a guide but they must not have used a company like Amigo and a guide like Raj. I can't see how anyone would ever go without a guide or use another company. You could tell along the trek to EBC that Amigo was a very well respected name by the locals at each place we visited and this helped us have the very best experience. We also did an elephant safari, Kathmandu city tour, and a yoga/mediation ashram. Everything was handled with excellence. Of course, they can't control the weather but next to that, they guys have extreme pull and influence to make sure everywhere you go, it will be a 5 star experience. I highly highly recommend this company. PS - stay at the ashram longer than you expect - it's worth it

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

My husband and I did the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Our guide, Raaj, was excellent. He was organised, capable, reliable, reassuring, encouraging and always happy. He was well prepared and told us to get crampons for the Base Camp which turned out to be essential. We met other trekkers who did not have them and it would have been more difficult and dangerous without them. Raaj involved us when decisions had to be made and he really wanted us to have the best experience possible. We always felt we could trek at whatever pace we were happy with. We also couldn't have done it without Bharat, our porter. He was also always cheerful, looked out for us and even played us beautiful music on his flute. Amigo made it very easy to tailor the trip to our wants. Niti was so prompt answering my questions and she made it very simple to arrange everything. Amigo's day trip of Kathmandu was excellent. Niti organised a great trip to Chitwan and airport pickups and dropoffs all went smoothly. It was a very memorable adventure. We are so glad we did it and very happy with Amigo Treks.

15 days trek to EVEREST BASE CAMP including crossing CHOLA PASS. My colleague Herbert and I from Innsbruck/Austria have booked a trek in Nepal (Solukhumbu) for Oktober 2018. Our guide NARAYAN from Amigo Treks has already picked us up at the airport in Kahmandu and accompanied us to the hotel in Thamel. NARAYAN then organized the flight to LUKLA and so we flew together to LUKLA, where we met our porter NABI. From then on we were a good team of four for the next 15 days. We were very well looked after and had everything we needed. We climbed higher and higher and so we hat no problem with the altidude to the Evererst Base Camp. We climbed easily the KALA PATTHAR from where we hat a terrific view to Luptse an Mt. Everest. The highlight was the day tour from ZONGLA to THAKNAG with the crossing of the CHOLA PASS. So we could go over GOKYO another valley back to NAMCHE BAZAR. It was a very successful trekking tour for us an I can very recommend the guide NARAYAN and the porter NABI!

Max and me did the EBC Trek beginning of November and we had a wonderful time in the Himalayas with our mountain family. We want to say many thanks to the Amigo Team for organizing the trip and for making all these moments possible, thank you Manu for being the best Guide you can ask for - except you want to win a round of dhumbal - and thank you Sujan for being the best porter, having always a smile on his face. We highly recommend EBC Trek with Amigo!! :-)

Everest Base Camp Trek with Gokyo Lake and Chola pass

I went on the EBC trek with Gokyo Lakes & Chola Pass in October 2018. Niti always replied very fast to my queries, assisted me when I had technical problems with payment and let me customize my trip. It was the trip of a lifetime, with amazing scenery and everything very well organized. On our day of departure, most flights to Lukla were cancelled, but Amigo put me and my guide on a helicopter to Lukla for no extra charge, because they already had a helicopter going there. All others I met on the trek had paid extra, so I was very happy for this! I was alone, but with my own guide and porter, and I had a really nice time with them. My guide Prakash was taking good care of me the whole time, even when I felt quite sick on many days. He was very positive, energetic and polite, always offering help and making sure that I got good photos. Our porter Tikaram was very reliable, always smiling and waiting for me in the morning as well as when we arrived at the tea houses after a long day. In the end, when we were stuck in Lukla for one extra day, they were still assisting me with everything. It was a very special and memorable trip. Hoping to go on another trek with Amigo in the future!

I highy recommend Amigo Treks. Our trip was very well-organised, everything has been taken care of. Our guide, Niraj, was knowledgeable and fun to be around. Also our porter, Arjun, was amazing and super friendly. The trek is an unfogettable experience, with changing landscapes, local villages, beautiful bamboo forests and even hot springs. We had our entire itinerary, accommodation and food organised for us I recommend Amigo Treks to everyone thinking about a trek in the Himalaya. Thank you for the amazing experience!
