Ultimate Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek

My wife and I arranged a 9-day EBC trek with Amigo in May 2022 (after a 2-year COVID delay). We had to cut it short due to a health issue. But, wow, Amigos was fantastic - and Niti is just amazing! She patiently answered our endless questions for two years, made all of the arrangements seamlessly, and provided everything we needed to have a great trek. When we had to cut it short, she promptly arranged the helicopter to bring us back down, made new hotel reservations for us in Kathmandu, and even sat with us for half an hour (with her colleague Dennis) helping us get through to United to reschedule our flight home. I have never experienced such extraordinary service before. Our guide Navaraj (Nava) Thapa was kind, patient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. (Thanks, Nava! ) And our porter, Jari, was a modern Hercules who didn't even flinch when we brought WAY too much stuff. If you want to trek to EBC, we HIGHLY recommend Amigo!

Kyajo Ri Climbing

This was my second time booking with Amigo and my experience was even better this time round (didn't think it was possible). From the moment I reached out to Niti (customer service agent) I was looked after. The booking process was smooth, super quick (turned it around in less than 48 hours) and provided me all the information. On arrival in Kathmandu I was greeted by my head guide Phurba Sherpa and what a lovely greeting it was. The expedition to climb Kayjo Ri was nothing but spectacular and with some amazing mountaineer guides. I couldn't have been more pleased with the overall experience. Safety and caring for the client (me) was always front of mind which is put my mind at easy going into an activity of this kind. Not only have would I recommend climbing this mountain but I would highly recommend Amigo. I will certainly be back again and will be booking with them. Amazing trip made so much more enjoyable by my friends at Amigo.

Everest Base Camp Deluxe Trek With Helicopter Ride

Normally we do not write reviews, though in this case, we had such a great experience that we want to praise Amigo Treks & Expedition as well as our guide Hari Adhikari. Amigo Treks & Expedition is a professional organization with quick and clear responses to questions, as well as being available 24/7 before, during, and after the trek. They even took the time to book additional flights to Chitwan National park as well arranging shuttle pick-up and drop-offs. Our guide Hari Adhikari was amazing. He has so much knowledge about the route, as well the environment in which we’re hiking. Hari was really caring for us. He provided us with advice on what to wear at what moment, how to protect yourself against the cold as well as how to deal with the altitude. This made the trip so much more enjoyable. Additional, Hari was able to arrange to best stays along the treks, as well as fixing broken zippers of jackets, and even carry day packs if needed. If you decide to do beautiful trekking with Amigo Treks & Expeditions, then we would for sure advise having Hari as your guide!

Everest Helicopter Tour from Kathmandu

We chose Nepal for our first trip in 2022, and a visit to the Everest Base Camp was a must for us. Amigo Treks & Expedition was chosen because of its seriousness, flexibility, and care. It involves flying a helicopter above 5000 meters, which necessitates the use of a dependable operator. This trip was incredible! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. The views are incredible, and the helicopter ride is enjoyable and safe. We chose a tour that included Gokyo Lake, which was fantastic and well worth the extra money. I can't recommend Nepal enough; the people are friendly, and a visit to the everest is a must. Niti and his team at Amigo Treks & Expedition are the best at this.

Everest Base Camp Trek

Spending time in Nepal with the Amigo Treks & Expeditions crew, led by Raju, was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. We are a group of eight people who dream of trekking in Everest Base Camp for 15 days and were referred to Amigo Treks by one of my coworkers. We've always been at ease with each other and find it simple to converse. Niti, with whom we communicated and asked hundreds of questions, responds quickly and thoroughly to your inquiries. We already have the feeling that our once-in-a-lifetime journey is in good hands. We were greeted by Raju when we arrived at Kathmandu airport, and he made us feel welcome. Next Niti briefed us on the trek the next morning, and our guide double-checked our equipment. He recommended gear and assisted us in purchasing our hiking equipment. We went for a welcome dinner after our full-day tour of Kathmandu, which was a memorable experience. Our trek to Everest Base Camp was so memorable that by the end of the trip, we had a distinct impression that we were half-Nepali. Raju was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and experienced, and he was able to answer any questions that arose along the way. Our guides educated us on local history and interesting facts, and we made many Nepali friends along the way, learning a few Nepali words that made us feel half-Nepali Everything was extremely well-organized, and the team is extremely competent. We endorse Amigo Team and enthusiastically recommend it to all of our friends and family who are planning a trip to Nepal.

Everest Base Camp Trek

The Everest Base Camp Trek is fantastic and magical! Our trip manager, Niti Sharma, as well as our guide and porters, were all humble, inspiring, and even amusing members of the Amigo Treks & Expeditions team. Namche village, Tengboche monastery, Sherpa cultured villages, Sagarmatha national park, Everest base camp, and the stunning sunrise views from Kalapathar viewpoints were among the highlights for me. Once again, thank you for sharing your incredible life experiences with us. Everything about the trip was incredible.

Everest Helicopter Tour from Kathmandu

I took a helicopter tour of Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar. Amazing experience, breathtaking views; you won't be able to put your camera down. Our helicopter adventure took us from Kathmandu to Lukla (refueling), to Syangboche, to Kala Patthar (highest point, 17,500 feet), to the Everest View Hotel (breakfast), and back to Kathmandu. The views from Syangboche, Kala Patthar, and the Everest View Hotel are spectacular. Niti's communication and professionalism put me at ease with this company.

Ultimate Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek

I went on the Everest Base Camp Trek with Amigo in December 2021. A quiet but wonderful time on the trail. I was solo and had a wonderful guide and porter, both of which worked closely with me to insure this 64 year old (somewhat out of shape) male did well on one of his most important bucket list items. Niti was amazing with the communication during the year+ leading up to my trek. COVID travel restrictions and concerns caused numerous delays beyond her control. I would highly recommend Amigo. Even during these challenging times, they continue to have their "eye on the ball"... complete customer satisfaction. My enduring thanks to all at Amigo for making my trip an outstanding memory.

Everest Base Camp Trek

It has been almost a year since I took my trip to Everest Basecamp, and not a day goes by without thinking about it. From the views, to our guides, from the challenges, to the triumphs, and beyond. It was all incredible. I still can't believe it was real. Raju, Prakash, Padam, Krishna, and Dipu/Deepak were all wonderful. Their knowledge of the mountains, the trail, safety, and the itinerary exceeded my expectations. They had the answers to any questions we threw their way, and spoke english very well. They genuinely cared to get to know the whole group and initiated/engaged in many group activities each night. Niti was also great at helping with all of the planning/preparation. I enjoyed the tour of Kathmandu and it's culture as well, but I had wished it didn't feel so rushed. Overall, I highly recommend Amigo Treks. I would love to go on another adventure with them someday!

Everest Base Camp Trek

Just arrived home from our Everest Base Camp Trek led by guide Suman and assistant guide Subus. I cannot say enough lovely things about them or our porters. Suman was extremely friendly but also professional, especially regarding our health and wellbeing as we faced some tough weather during the trek. He went above and beyond to look out for us, even carrying on of our trekkers bags for the majority of the day when she was unwell. He cracked jokes, helped us down tricky terrain, shared and listened as we discussed our family and culture and even taught us a new Nepalese word every day. It was amazing to have Subus as our assistant guide. There was very much a culture within the company of great service and exceeding expectations. Subus helped us along the trek, waited on us in the tea houses and carried fresh fruit the whole trek so we could have a fruit platter every night. Amigo trekkers and Tika were amazingly professional, down to earth and super organised. Tika helped us arrange things to do in Thamel after the tour and coordinated with the companies and hotels on our behalf. The trek was absolutely amazing, I don't think I'll ever be able to top the experience and views and I would strongly encourage anyone considering the trek to do it with Amigo Trekking.

Everest Base Camp Trek with Gokyo Lake and Chola pass

15 days trek to EVEREST BASE CAMP including crossing CHOLA PASS. My colleague Herbert and I from Innsbruck/Austria have booked a trek in Nepal (Solukhumbu) for October 2018. Our guide NARAYAN from Amigo Treks has already picked us up at the airport in Kathmandu and accompanied us to the hotel in Thamel. NARAYAN then organized the flight to LUKLA and so we flew together to LUKLA, where we met our porter NABI. From then on we were a good team of four for the next 15 days. We were very well looked after and had everything we needed. We climbed higher and higher and so we had no problem with the altitude to the Everest Base Camp. We climbed easily the KALA PATTHAR from where we had a terrific view of Luptse and Mt. Everest. The highlight was the day tour from ZONGLA to THAKNAG with the crossing of the CHOLA PASS. So we could go over GOKYO another valley back to NAMCHE BAZAR. It was a very successful trekking tour for us and I can very much recommend the guide NARAYAN and the porter NABI!

Everest Base Camp Trek

I just completed the 12-Day Everest Base Camp Trek with Amigo on November 1, 2018. My trip was fantastic! All thanks to Neeti and the Amigo Support Staff who organized the trek in a meticulous and professional manner. Additionally, I would like to sincerely thank Durga our Guide who did a splendid job on the trek, whether it was walking us through the "Nepalese flats, ups and downs" managing the food three times a day, or catering to each of the team members. I strongly recommend him for the EBC trek, if one is booking through Amigo. Kudos Durga!!!
