Everest Base Camp Trek with Gokyo Lake and Chola pass

I recently had the incredible opportunity to embark on an unforgettable trekking adventure to Everest Base Camp Plus Gokyo through Chola Pass with Amigo Trekking Company. From the moment I set foot in this awe-inspiring region until the end of the journey, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Itinerary: Our itinerary was perfectly structured, allowing us to explore some of the most breathtaking and challenging terrains of the Khumbu region. The journey took us through the Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Lakes, and the formidable Chola Pass. The diverse landscapes, from lush green forests to high-altitude glaciers, made every step of the trek unique and awe-inspiring. Our Guide, Jon (Janardan Sapkota): I cannot express my gratitude enough to our guide, Jon. His knowledge of the area, unwavering dedication, and genuine care for our group's well-being were evident from day one. Jon went above and beyond to make our journey as smooth as possible, even when faced with challenging situations. His resourcefulness and quick thinking, such as arranging a helicopter and accommodations when needed, were instrumental in ensuring our safety and comfort. Jon was not just a guide; he was a true companion throughout the trek. His constant support, encouragement, and insights into the local culture enriched our experience in countless ways. He shared his extensive knowledge of the region's history, culture, and wildlife, enhancing the trek with a deeper understanding of the surroundings. Porter, Rajesh: I would also like to express my sincere thanks to our porter, Rajesh. His strength, resilience, and dedication to our journey were remarkable. Carrying our gear and essentials through some of the most challenging terrains was no small feat, and Rajesh did it with a smile on his face. His contribution was invaluable, making our trek more comfortable and enjoyable. Amigo Trekking Company: Amigo Trekking Company provided a seamless and well-organized trekking experience. From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu, their team ensured we were well-prepared for the adventure ahead. The logistics, permits, accommodations, and transportation were all taken care of efficiently. Overall Experience: Trekking to Everest Base Camp Plus Gokyo through Chola Pass was physically demanding, but the rewards were beyond imagination. The jaw-dropping scenery, the camaraderie with fellow trekkers, and the spiritual connection to the Himalayas made this journey an experience of a lifetime. This adventure would not have been the same without Jon's exceptional guidance, and the support of Amigo Trekking Company and the dedication of our porter, Rajesh. I am immensely grateful for the memories I've created and the personal growth I've achieved through this expedition. Tsum Valley Trek

With 3 friends we trek up the Tsum Valley supported by our guide Dawa and porters Shambu and Anil… a fantastic trip. Beautiful, fascinating, great food and lodging…. From Kathmandu to the Valley. My Gong is more basic but sitting in with the monks at prayer time and glimpsing life and devotion is extraordinary. Dawa was excellent from the safe crossing of old landslides to making us nettle soup and it helped us understand where the valley came from and what is happening now. Tsum Valley Trek

This was my first trek in Nepal though not for my three friends who had trekked in Nepal before and used Amigo Treks. I cannot fault Tika or his business; he is personable and likable and thorough in his preparation and communications. Everything went as planned From when we met at Tribhuvan Airport until we were farewelled. We chose Tsum Valley ('Grade 3') partly because of my age (mid-seventies) and because of the Valley's isolation, varied landscapes, and traditional culture of its people. Our actual trek time (excluding a couple of days at Katmandu and driving time) was an unhurried 13 days - we started each day by 0800hrs and aimed to be at our destination village by mid-afternoon. The trek culminated at MuGumba - a monastery where we overnighted. Amigo Treks provided us with an excellent Guide who interacted with all of us, knew the tracks, and chose good tea houses. The two porters trekked with us and were good company. All in all a wonderful (if occasionally tough) experience.

Annapurna Circuit Trek

I did the Annapurna circuit trek with Tilicho Lake. I was scared, as it was my first trip to Nepal and my first trip to the mountains after many years. I went with Amigo Treks after talking a lot with Niti Sharma. She answered all my questions honestly, and most important she convinced me not to be scared and do the trek! Thanks, Niti. On the trek I had the best guide I could have: Hari Adhikari. He is not only a guide, but a friend and a companion, also. I learned a lot about this wonderful country and people from Hari. He has a very nice and easy way of answering questions and addressing your concerns. Our safety was also his main priority all the time he made sure were well fed, with enough water, and with proper clothing for the weather!! I am sure, I will be back in Nepal soon. With You, Hari as a guide, of course. Thanks again, for a wonderful vacation, and thanks for our porters as well.

Manaslu Circuit Trek – 15 Days

We were a family of four and had the pleasure of trekking with Amigo Treks and Expedition in Nepal. Our experience was exceptional, and we couldn't have been happier. Everest Base Camp Trek

Had the most memorable and amazing experience with Amigo Trekking. 4 years in the planning due to Covid restrictions but we finally made it! What a trip, around every corner another beautiful scene. Mardi Himal Trek

I recently went on the Mardi Himal trek with Amigo Treks and Expedition, and I must say it was a phenomenal experience. As someone who loves adventure and enjoys exploring new places, this trek was a perfect choice. One of the things that stood out to me about the Mardi Himal trek was the lack of crowds. It felt like I was truly experiencing the beauty of the Himalayas in a more authentic and remote way, away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular trekking routes. Booking my trek with Amigo Treks and Expedition was a decision I was thankful for. Their team offered exceptional guidance and support during the trek, and my guides and porters were well-informed about the local culture, history, and geography. This added an extra layer of depth to my experience, making it all the more fulfilling. The scenery on the trek was simply breathtaking. The highlight for me was reaching the high camp at 4,500 meters, where I was rewarded with an unforgettable panoramic view of the surrounding peaks. Langtang Valley Trek

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of embarking on the Langtang Trek with Amigo Treks and Expedition, and we cannot recommend it enough. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of fantastic. Before the trek, we worked closely with Niti from the sales team to customize our itinerary based on our needs and preferences. She was incredibly helpful and responsive, and we felt confident that we were in good hands. During the trek, our guide and porter were both excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and provided us with lots of interesting information about the local culture and history. Our porter was also very friendly and accommodating, and we felt very well taken care of throughout the trip. The trek itself was absolutely breathtaking. The scenery was simply stunning, and we were constantly amazed by the incredible views of the Himalayas. The trail was challenging at times, but always manageable, and we felt a great sense of accomplishment every time we reached a new milestone. Overall, we had an incredible experience on the Langtang Trek with Amigo Treks and Expedition, and we are already planning to book our next trek with them - the Everest Base Camp Trek. Annapurna Circuit Trek

My partner and I, both from Australia, recently completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Amigo Treks and Expedition, and we cannot speak highly enough of our experience. From start to finish, the entire journey was seamless and enjoyable, and we felt well taken care of throughout the trip. Our trip planning process was excellent, thanks to the exceptional assistance of Niti, the sales manager at Amigo Treks and Expedition. Niti provided us with comprehensive information about the trek, answered all of our questions promptly and efficiently, and helped us plan our itinerary to suit our preferences. Throughout the trek, our guide and porters were excellent, providing us with all the support we needed. They were always available to answer our questions, offer guidance when needed, and provide insight into the local culture. The trek itself was stunning, and we were blown away by the natural beauty of the Annapurna region. We trekked through lush forests, across snow-capped mountain passes, and through charming villages, and the stunning scenery kept us motivated and inspired throughout the journey. Everest Helicopter Tour from Kathmandu

I recently had the pleasure of booking a single-day Everest Base Camp helicopter tour with Amigo Treks and Expedition, and I cannot recommend it enough. The entire experience was truly unforgettable, and I was blown away by the professionalism, expertise, and hospitality of the Amigo team. From the moment I booked the tour, I felt well-informed and taken care of. The team was responsive, friendly, and eager to answer any questions I had about the itinerary, safety procedures, and logistics. The breakfast was delicious, and the hospitality of the locals was heartwarming. It was a fantastic opportunity to experience the local cuisine and hospitality, and it made the day even more special.
