Everest Base Camp Trek

I chose Amigo Treks for an Everest Base Camp trek in December 2014 and couldn't be happier. Tika always corresponded promptly and made organizing my travel a breeze, and the provided sightseeing day in Kathmandu was a great way to blow out the cobwebs of long haul flying. Bikal and Bhakta, my 2 guides, were friendly and extremely professional for the entire duration of the trek. Their knowledge of the area's culture and history enriched the experience far beyond what any travel guide could do, and many happy evenings were spent playing cards together in the lodges. The guides and Sherpas genuinely went above and beyond in looking after us and making us feel at home in the mountains, and this was an experience I will look back on fondly for the rest of my life. Everest Base Camp Trek

We are 4 friends and we had a fantastic trekking to Everest Base Camp in January 2015. We would like to really thank Amigo Trek for the organization of the trekking. From Italy we found Amigo Trek in Internet and we contacted them for information. We immediately received a detailed answer from Tika (Amigo Trek responsible) including a detailed day by day trekking program in line with your needs. We really appreciate proactive approach of Amigo Trek and their very quick answers to all our questions. When we arrived in Kathmandu we found Amigo trek representative waiting for us at the airport and starting from this moment all our expectations have been satisfied. We especially would like to mention and thank here our trekking guide: Kem for his professionalism, competences sympathy and kindness. Kem always gave us very good advices to successfully complete the trek. When we came back from the trek we spent other three days in Kathmandu and also in this case the organization of the tour of the city has been perfect. We really appreciate the celebration dinner we had with Tika the same day we retuned back from the trek, very good restaurant and very good food. Everest Base Camp Trek

I feel, and fear my words will do little justice in explaining just how amazing this company is. How truly professional, genuinely caring, selfless and beautiful all of Amigo Treks and expedition staff were to both myself, sister and friends. Months before arriving to Nepal, Tika from Amigo Treks and expedition made sure there was an open line of communication for us to ask any questions we may have had in regards to our trek to Everest base camp, which were all replied to within the day. The moment we stepped into Nepal, we were greeted by our awesome guide Bikal, the following day on arrival into Lukla airport we met our second fantastic guide Bhakta along with our three strong porters. I am not being biased when I say we had the best guides and porters on the circuit. I always felt safe with there guidance, was beyond spoilt having all meals served and cleared by them, 15+ kg bags carried by our porters. so much patience, hard work and time for us, always smiling. Five people whom I feel would have moved mountains for us if they could. Above and beyond, well and truly exceeded my expectations. Returning back to reality is hard specially after being spoilt rotten by great company. I hope one day to return to that amazing country to be blessed by there presence again. Nothing compares. Ghorepani Poonhill Trek

Great seamless experience. Did the trek with a group of 5, with Nava as guide and Ranjan as porter. Nava had great knowledge about the areas and went at a pace that suited us all being of different age groups. Good value for money and an experience of the Himalayas that will be very memorable. Great food along the way too! Thanks.

Ghorepani Poonhill Trek

I have just returned from the 4 night trek with Amigo Treks. From the booking to the ending of the trek it was all handled very professionally and all details explained really well. What a fantastic experience!!!! Naba was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgable, kind and patient. He made the experience amazing. Ranjan was our porter and we had a great time with him. I would recommend this trek to anyone. I am 54 years old and coped very well with it. The accommodation and food were also very good. What beautiful scenery. Wow!!!! What a wonderful time.

Ghorepani Poonhill Trek

It was a great experience to be taken care of by true professionals on this 5 day trek. From the Head Office in Kathmandu until the last day on the trek, all the people we dealt with were very knowledgable and pleasant to be with. Most definitely worth a good recommendation. Thanks to Amigo treks, our guide Nava and porter Jansan!! We are happyto use you people again and more than happy to refer our friends in to your company for adventure trek in Nepal.

Everest Base Camp Trek

My guide from Amigo Trekking 'Kisim' picked me up and took me to hotel to meet Tika. Tika took me shopping for final trekking needs and out for welcoming dinner. Next morning met up with my trekking partner and Kisim and set off to the airport and flew to Lukla. Breakfast was served and we met our porters 'Lukpa & Bim' then set off for our trek. We stayed in comfortable lodges all the way and chose our own meal off the menu. Our guide Kisim and porters Lukpa and Bim were very polite and hospitable the entire trek. We made many necessary stops on the way and were informed by Kisim 'not to worry' that it was our holiday and to take our time on our trek. Every step taken offered absolute amazingly beautiful scenery like no other. And reaching Everest Base Camp as truly a memorable moment. I was taken out for farewell dinner after the trek and delivered to the airport for my flight back to Australia.. The cost of this trek is worth every dollar. Overall, if anyone is considering trekking to Everest Base Camp look no further. Amigo Trekking is the company in Nepal to go with. Very happy with this company and the package provided :-) Thanks Tika, Kisim, Lukpa and Bim for the trek of a lifetime :-)
