The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra from Kathmandu can be completed in 13 days for travelers who do not require additional visa processing in Kathmandu or who already hold the required visa before arrival.
The 13-day itinerary includes arrival in Kathmandu, sightseeing at Pashupatinath, Budhanilkantha and Boudhanath, the overland journey into Tibet, Lake Mansarovar, the three-day Mount Kailash Kora, and the return to Kathmandu.
Travelers who need to obtain or process their visa in Kathmandu should allow a minimum of 16 days for the complete journey. The extra days are required for visa processing before departure to Tibet and also provide some additional flexibility before the overland journey begins.
As visa procedures vary by passport nationality, Amigo Treks & Expedition will confirm whether the 13-day or minimum 16-day program is suitable after checking the traveler’s passport and visa status.
