Want to experience a great and organized EBC trek?? Don't look any further!! Amigo Treks & Expedition is the best you can find. Everything was well organized, the personnel were experienced and we could rely on them throughout the trek. After dinner, Amigo Treks supplied us with a plate of fruit, which was a bonus and some of the other groups were pretty jealous!! My husband got sick along the way and they took great care of him. Thanks a lot Raj,Bisno and Harri!!

After trekking Poonhill in 2015 with Amigos I was so impressed with their professionalism and the 5 star service when booking for Everest Base Camp I would not have gone with anyone else. Our trek was AMAZING! Tika did a fantastic job arranging the trek to cater for all of our needs and our large group of 12. When one of our group became unwell, Tika and the guides were wonderful! One of the guides stayed back to look after her whilst Tika quickly arranged all the insurance paperwork for a helicopter evacuation. The guides were all so friendly, had fantastic English, were very experienced, answered our hundreds of questions, ensured we were feeling well and quickly got anything we needed, often before we even asked. The guides and porters made our trip so easy all we had to do was walk. Our amazing guide Biki even went above and beyond and had not one but two birthday cakes made for myself and one of the other girls in our trip which is a huge feat at over 4,000m! The teahouses were great, basic the higher up we went but we were advised about this before starting so we knew what to expect. The food was always fresh and we were never hungry. I personally learnt so much from our guides and the families who owned the teahouses and I would definitely not have had the cultural experience and learnt as much as I did without them. I would have been lost. Overall my expectations were more than exceeded and it is one of the most memorable and enjoyable trips I have ever been on. Ill be back to do Island Peak and ill be booking with Amigos again!

In April 2015 we, a German couple, made a trekking tour to the EBC with AMIGO Adventures from Kathmandu. In our first stage of planning we looked for some German tour operators for booking this trip. But finally we decided to choose a local office because we like to go the direct way of organization. After some investigation we requested information from some different Kathmandu tour operators. First and very fast reply came from AMIGO. Furthermore AMIGOs proposal fitted best into our considerations and was absolutely reasonable in price. So finally we organized a flight to Kathmandu and booked accordingly our EBC trekking tour with AMIGO tours. From this point we had nothing other to do than just arrive in Kathmandu. Rest of all organizing activities was in the hands of AMIGO. Despite of some trouble with the incoming flight and a big delay communication with AMIGO was possible all the time so that pick-up service from airport at new arrival time worked perfect. After arrival we had a briefing in AMIGO office where we met our tour guide first time. Next morning he brought us to domestic airport, organized all check-in activities and our adventure began. Our guide gave us clear direction for a successful trekking to EBC (good acclimatization and avoiding of alcohol). In LUKLA also we met out porter who took care for our luggage all the time of our tour. We experienced a 24 hour service from AMIGO team in all organizational details (accommodation in different lodges and serving always with the best food) during our tour. So finally we reached our target, the EBC, with success in a perfect condition. The way back in very difficult weather condition was supported absolute careful by our guide. At the end we reached Lukla without any issues and had a little party with AMIGO team. After returning to Kathmandu AMIGO organized a very interesting sightseeing tour through the city and we had a dinner with office director in one of the best restaurants in Katmandu. For our last day AMIGO proposed some activities like a tour to Bhraktapur. So all the time we had the feeling that we were in good hands. Everything was organized perfectly and we had take care for nothing than our personal belongings. Again many thanks to AMIGO for a perfect trekking tour to the roof of the world what was a great experience for us.

I did the 15 day Everest Base Camp and it was the best trip I have ever done. My guide Bhim was amazing, very helpful and friendly, he made the sure I had the best time on the trip and took care of everything. Couldn't ask for more. Amigo Travel was great in setting up accommodation for the trip and taking care of issues such as flight delays. I would recommend them to everyone.

Well not knowing much about Nepal, only it has awesome trekking in the Himalaya's and I love outdoor adventuring. I didn't know where to being to start my adventure. It was through a friend that I found Amigo Trekking. It was so good having them guide me through my trek to Everest base camp. Yes there was earthquake damage from the April earthquakes but it was still safe to trek, there was good accommodation and meals at every village I stayed at, and my Sherpa's took expert care of me. I have nothing but good things to say about Amigo Trekking and if you are looking for a adventure in Nepal there is no one better than this company. I only had two weeks off work to see as much as I could and Amigo Trekking made sure I did.

We did the trekking to the Eversert base camp with Amigo trek. Everything was well organized, from the beginning to the end of our vacation, the pick-up to the airport, the accommodation, the fly to Lukla, everything was ready and prepared. The trek is hard for the height, but with the suggest from Tika when and where take an extra days for acclimatization it make it possible to achieve EBC and go to Kalappattar. The tea-house until Nanche are simple after that are basic. We had a nice guide Kim, he was really helpful to show us the best point of view along the trek and to listen our request or necessity. Ho contattato Amigotrek per avere informazioni sulle possibilita' di trekking della durata di 15 giorni nel periodo di fine anno. Mi hanno subito colpito la velocita' nel rispondere e la precisione dei contenuti. Ho prenotato il trekking al campo base dell'Everest. Tutto era organizzato nei minimi dettagli, dall'arrivo all'aeroporto fino alla partenza per l'Italia. Eravamo 4 amici e ci hanno accompagnato due portatori e una guida. Tutti molto professionali e disponibili. Il trekking e' andato molto bene. La guida ci ha permesso di adattare le tappe giorno per giorno in modo da adeguarle alla nostra preparazione fisica e alle nostre esigenze e si e' sempre preoccupata che fossimo tutti in buona salute e che ci stessimo divertendo. Alla fine l'obiettivo di arrivare al campo base dell'Everest e' stato raggiunto, e nei giorni successivi ci sono state molte occasioni per festeggiare. Un sentito grazie ad Amigotrek! I chose Amigo Treks for an Everest Base Camp trek in December 2014 and couldn't be happier. Tika always corresponded promptly and made organizing my travel a breeze, and the provided sightseeing day in Kathmandu was a great way to blow out the cobwebs of long haul flying. Bikal and Bhakta, my 2 guides, were friendly and extremely professional for the entire duration of the trek. Their knowledge of the area's culture and history enriched the experience far beyond what any travel guide could do, and many happy evenings were spent playing cards together in the lodges. The guides and Sherpas genuinely went above and beyond in looking after us and making us feel at home in the mountains, and this was an experience I will look back on fondly for the rest of my life. We are 4 friends and we had a fantastic trekking to Everest Base Camp in January 2015. We would like to really thank Amigo Trek for the organization of the trekking. From Italy we found Amigo Trek in Internet and we contacted them for information. We immediately received a detailed answer from Tika (Amigo Trek responsible) including a detailed day by day trekking program in line with your needs. We really appreciate proactive approach of Amigo Trek and their very quick answers to all our questions. When we arrived in Kathmandu we found Amigo trek representative waiting for us at the airport and starting from this moment all our expectations have been satisfied. We especially would like to mention and thank here our trekking guide: Kem for his professionalism, competences sympathy and kindness. Kem always gave us very good advices to successfully complete the trek. When we came back from the trek we spent other three days in Kathmandu and also in this case the organization of the tour of the city has been perfect. We really appreciate the celebration dinner we had with Tika the same day we retuned back from the trek, very good restaurant and very good food. I feel, and fear my words will do little justice in explaining just how amazing this company is. How truly professional, genuinely caring, selfless and beautiful all of Amigo Treks and expedition staff were to both myself, sister and friends. Months before arriving to Nepal, Tika from Amigo Treks and expedition made sure there was an open line of communication for us to ask any questions we may have had in regards to our trek to Everest base camp, which were all replied to within the day. The moment we stepped into Nepal, we were greeted by our awesome guide Bikal, the following day on arrival into Lukla airport we met our second fantastic guide Bhakta along with our three strong porters. I am not being biased when I say we had the best guides and porters on the circuit. I always felt safe with there guidance, was beyond spoilt having all meals served and cleared by them, 15+ kg bags carried by our porters. so much patience, hard work and time for us, always smiling. Five people whom I feel would have moved mountains for us if they could. Above and beyond, well and truly exceeded my expectations. Returning back to reality is hard specially after being spoilt rotten by great company. I hope one day to return to that amazing country to be blessed by there presence again. Nothing compares.
