★★★★★My wife and I completed the Everest Base Camp trek with guide Novo and our porter Dipak. It was an amazing experience and they were great from start to finish. Very friendly and helpful and we got along with them very well. The trip was very organised right from the airport pick up, and the days were flexible to suit our walking speed. I would highly recommend it and will never forget the trip.

★★★★★An amazing experience from start till end! I decided to book the EBC trek last minute and go with a group of unknown people. At first I was quite worried that the other people in my group would be hardcore trekkers but much to my surprise, none of them had ever trekked before - so we were all in the same boat! My guide Ramesh was exceptional! Always making sure everyone was looked after. He truly made the trip special. He allowed me to use his phone on multiple occasions to contact family members and he always went above and beyond for everyone. One of the nicest and kindest people I have ever met. Would definitely suggest you ask for Ramesh if you're thinking of doing EBC trek! Do not underestimate how hard this trek will be!! Absolute trip of a lifetime but will test your strength, both mentally and physically!! Also... the food is amazing, I would recommend everything! If you're considering doing this trek, you should 100% book it without any hesitation! It is hard work and majority of the time you will think why the heck have I paid to do this! But the feeling of accomplishment at the end is amazing. Good luck to anyone who decides to do it!

★★★★★My husband and I just got back from our Everest base camp trek with Amigo treks and it was amazing!!! I seriously can't say enough good things about Amigo Treks, Thank god we found such an amazing and creditable company, and the owner Tika really made sure we had everything we needed and were well prepared. He was so friendly and patient and sat down with us before we started the trek and made sure all our questions were answered and that we knew exactly what was going to be on our itinerary. Once we started the trek we were in a group with 3 other people(5 of us total) and it turned out to be an experience of a life time. A day before the trek started we got sent on a tour of Kathmandu to learn about the culture and see some beautiful temples. Our guide for the city tour was Kiran and he really knew everything there was about the culture. He brought us to a monkey temple which was my favorite part because I love animals. There were thousands of monkeys all over the place and basically I was in heaven. Then he brought us to see the Kumari who is a living goddess and that was pretty cool. He explained the importance of her to us in their culture and it was pretty amazing we got to see that. Then he took us to a delicious traditional Nepalese lunch at a beautiful roof top restaurant and then ended the tour by taking us to a Nepalese cremation ceremony. It was amazing to see something like that and experience how other cultures deal with death. The city tour was really a great start to our trek and I think it's very important to learn about the cultures of new places once you are there visiting. Amigo treks does a fantastic job of this and I think it's one of the reasons they are a great company. Now on to the trek..... Our guide for the trip was Nava, and after spending all this time with him my husband and I consider him a part of our family. Nava told us this was our trek, not to feel rushed, and to go at our own pace. Nava has been a trek guide for quite some time now and knows the entire route like the back of his hand. He told us exactly what to expect, how long we would be going day by day, and kept us healthy and alive. Our safety was his first priority and it really showed. Nava has such a wonderful personality and really cares about his work and the groups of people he takes out. After spending just a few days with him you can tell he's really a great guy and cares about what he's doing. I still can't believe how lucky we got. During the trek Nava was mentoring Dipak on becoming a trekking guide. Dipak was the lead porter, which is one of the people who carry your bags up the mountain so you don't have to. Some companies use yaks to do this but Amigo treks uses porters which actually gives jobs to the local people which I think is a great thing. Dipak was also a great guy and I'm impressed he was able to carry so much weight on his back every day. We had two other porters as well, Dewan and Sunil who were two younger guys who carried EVERYTHING for us. If it wasn't for Nava and the porters this trek wouldn't of been possible. We literally owe the success of our trip to Nava I can't thank him enough. Nava made sure we stuck to our schedule, we stayed on time, we stayed safe, and most importantly enjoyed the entire trek. Amigo treks is a 5 star company and all it's employees are genuinely amazing people. Thank you!!!

★★★★★Right from the start Binu helped me organise absolutely everything, she was so lovely and helpful it was incredible. All of my questions were answered and any worries eased with in depth explanations of what I had to expect to do Everest Base Camp. During the actually trek itself, myself and my group were so pleased to be led by Raju. He literally made the trip. At any given point he was able to tell us the surrounding mountains and villages, the exact altitude that we were at and the details of the days trek and activities. Not once in the twelve days did I have to go out of my way to ask for anything, all meals were pre arranged and he was beyond organised in every aspect. His great sense of humour and outgoing personality made the trip so fun and took our attention of the difficult tracks! If you are able to request him, I would definitely advise so! Our two porters Shishir and Mohan were very helpful and attentive as well, always willing to assist us and join us for our acclimatisation days. Please, if you are going to do a trip in Nepal, do yourself a favour and go through Amigo! You will not regret it.

★★★★★In May 2017 my partner and I completed the EBC 15days trek with the aid of Dawa my amazing sherpa ! He was fantastic, helped me when I got altitude sickness above 4000m. He was always very helpful and without him I would have not been able to reach my goal so thanks to Dawa and also the porter which had to carry heavy load up and down the mountain! I would highly recommend Amigo Treks as everything was perfectly organised, didn't have to worry about anything! It was an amazing experience and I would definitely come back to Nepal again and explore another part of the Himalayas

★★★★★I'd gone through a very bad experience on my last trek to Lantang in year 2014. The mountain guide neither the assistant guide were not responsible and never track where we were, as they just hiked with their own speed. This trek to EBC I'm very prudent and make sure we get a good trekking center. I got Amigo trek from Facebook, and I kept on empathize to Mr. Tika about the guides and porters. He was really a responsive boss with fast email reply to all my questions. We were lucky and grateful to get Mr. BIKI as our Super guide and Mr. MANU as our assistant guide. Our porters Hari, Ram, Chandra, and Narayan. All of them are caring and helpful, besides that they are really friendly and answer to all our questions. We really appreciated the hard work from the guides and porters, they have done a good job, I'm highly recommended Amigo trek if you are looking for a trekking agency. This was an amazing trek and memories for our whole group! Thank you to Amigo trek. Namaste

★★★★★Best Trip of My Life! Words do not adequately describe how amazing this trip was. Amigo Trek - Tika Regmi, my guide Navaraj Magar, my Sherpa Roman Koirala worked hard in providing a high level of personal services upon arrival to Kathmandu and throughout the entire trek. This is a 5 star company at value pricing. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and I plan on booking with them again next year. These men are very knowlegeble and share their knowledge along the trek...........I learned so much in such a short time. I fell in love with the Himalaya Mountains, the people and the culture. Do not hesitate.........book this as life is way too short and a trip like this will change you in many positive ways. Thank you Tika, Navaraj, and Roman!

★★★★★I honestly could not fault my experience, everything about it was perfect. I came across this experience with no expectations other than wanting to achieve base camp so I could cross it off my bucket list. It turned out to be an experience that I will cheerish both friendships and memories forever. The fabulous team of porters; Gokarna, Shujan and Harim and guides; Shusil and Manu made my experience the best possible. They were very professional and knowledgable of the trek and mountains and if I was to do another trek I would want the very same team, as I know I would recieve only the best. I would certainly choose Amigo Treks and Expeditions again. Thank you for the best two weeks I could have asked for.

★★★★★A brilliant company. Decent accommodation (as good as you could expect in such remote places) and food better than expected for the most part. We were really well looked after by our guide Biki and his two assistants. Especially when someone wasn't feeling well - they helped them out and made sure they were safe and well enough to continue. Amazing scenery, an incredible experience and didn't have to plan anything once we arrived in Kathmandu as Amigo looked after everything - thanks Tika and Dinesh!
