I completed the 15 Day Everest Base Camp in Jan 2025. Kishor was my guide and Dilip my porter. Between them, they delivered an unforgettable experience for me. They looked after me like a mother looks after a toddler managing all arrangements regarding my water supply, my meals, accommodation, charging my mobile phone and other accessories and access to wifi each night. Kishor also checked my oxygen levels regularly with his oxymeter to ensure that the altitude was not unduly depleting my oxygen. He also carried my daypack when I was struggling. I am aged 65 and found the trek extremely challenging however Kishor and Dilip maximised my chances of completing it. I needed a lot of support to do so and got this from these 2 gentlemen. I am very happy to recommend them to any persons considering this trek.

My hiking friend(Zsu) used Amigo Treks & Expedition twice in the past and she highly recommended this trekking company to do 12 days of Everest Base Camp trekking. My trekking friend and I booked a flight and she coordinated the trekking plan with Niti in the office. The plan is probably the basic standard which is 12 days trekking which consists of 7 days up + 2 days acclimatization hike (= rest days) & 3 days down. Based on the itinerary, I checked daily hiking mileage and elevation gain/loss on the GAIA app to understand the level of trekking. Once we started trekking with Hari and our strong porters (Padma & Durga), Hari saw our hiking pace every day and altered the original plan to avoid the cold valley area's overnight stay and customize the plan to suit our needs (he re-booked warmer/less windy area's inn or larger town's inn such that we could spend time for souvenirs shopping on the way down, etc. These changes made a couple of days of trekking slightly longer or shorter but we didn't have any issues. Also, we have 1 guide, 2 porters, and 3 clients who have different hiking paces in each. Instead of forcing 3 of us to adjust the same hiking pace, Hari let 2 porters and himself be closer to each of us individually and kept an eye on we were all okay without problem/issue. These clients oriented way of handling, Hari is very good at and I was very happy that he did it that way. At the end of the day after eating supper, Hari talked about the next day's trekking (how long we go, whether we go up, flat, or down, steep ascent, etc, anthe d lunch plan in detail. At night, when it is cold, They provide a hot water bag for our sleep. During the trekking, My Guide explained mountain names by pointing to mountain summits in each. Overall, I enjoyed a lot with Hari, Padma, and Durga for 12 days of trekking. I highly recommend anyone use Amigo Treks & Expeditions.

Had the most memorable and amazing experience with Amigo Trekking. 4 years in the planning due to Covid restrictions but we finally made it! What a trip, around every corner another beautiful scene. Amigo Treks & Expedition has arranged a trek to Everest Base Camp in March 2022, and Niti provided exceptional customer service from the outset, promptly responding to all of our queries. She presented us with various options based on the number of days we had available and ultimately suggested a helicopter flight to accommodate our work schedule. The entire trip, from airport pickup to our stay in Kathmandu and the flight to Lukla, went extremely smoothly. Undertaking the trek was an incredible challenge and an unforgettable experience, featuring awe-inspiring views as we ascended. Our group was accompanied by an exceptional guide, Jon, and a porter, Ranjit. Jon kept us informed about what to expect each day and provided unwavering support, even when my friend was struggling with the altitude and became irritable. Ranjit was a fantastic addition to the group, always cheerful and amiable. As we ascended to Everest Base Camp, we formed a close bond and had a great time together. Moreover, Niti reserved exceptional accommodations for us. The tea houses we stayed in were spotless and comfortable, and it was clear that Niti had gone out of her way to secure the best available lodgings at each stop. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and we would strongly recommend Amigo Treks & Expedition to anyone seeking an unforgettable journey.

My brother and I trekked to EBC and Kala Patthar with our amazing guide Pramod! We absolutely loved our trip. The scenery was extraordinary, the food was amazing and the villages were just adorable. We were extremely happy with Pramod, he organized absolutely everything. We didn't have to lift a finger. We would have struggled without a guide with organizing everything from the accommodation to the food so we were extremely grateful to him. He ensured we were encouraged enough to make it to the top and played card games with us every night. I will definitely be coming back to this region & when I do I will be going through amigo and requesting Pramod!! 🤩

My boyfriend and I did the 14-Day Everest Base Camp Trek and it was a fantastic experience! They had everything covered and taken care of from the moment we landed. Our guide Jon definitely made our trip and ensured we had an authentic and enjoyable experience. Amigo Treks and Jon are experienced veterans of this trek and understand how to make sure everyone enjoys the trek. It was only my boyfriend and me with our guide Jon and Jon was truly our friend by the end of the trek. At the same time to he looked out for us and guided us on what we should and should not eat, how fast we should walk, and when to rest. We never once were sick from food or altitude and while the trek was challenging, we enjoyed every day! We saw other groups with altitude sickness and sick from food. We felt fortunate that we had Jon guiding and advising us along the way. While we thought this would be a “once in a lifetime” trip for us, we are already talking about doing more circuits and will definitely use Amigo Treks and request Jon when we return!!

From the moment we booked our trip, Amigo was always communicating and available. Niti was helpful with things even outside their scope. Like arranging a COVID test for my wife and me. She also helped get additional reservations needed for days, not on their schedule. The Kathmandu day tour they provided was great. Shushna spoke good English and was very informative about all the sites visited. For the Trek, our guide Pramod was great. Always on top of our trek, time meals, and anything we needed. I, unfortunately, got sick and got altitude sickness. Pramod and the staff were good at making sure I was safe. I would recommend Amigos without a doubt.

Hello all, We used Amigo Treks for our trek to EBC in Sept-Oct 2021. The planning started in Mar-April 2021 in the middle of the pandemic so we had a ton of questions for Tika, our contact at Amigo in Kathmandu. He was always very prompt and detailed in answering all our questions which made it easy for most on the team to take a leap of faith and commit for the adventure. Tika also provided a contact of another patron from the past who was an avid adventure traveler who helped couple of us -who were still unsure about this trip - jump onboard. The guides and the porters were all very helpful all along the way in the trek. The guides were Raju, Rajan and Hari. All of them were wonderful and very knowledgeable about the route, the procedures and everything about the EBC trek. Raju and Rajan were good at English but even though Hari lacked the command on the language he was equally knowledgeable about everything and the most funny guy on the team. All the porters were wonderful. The only porter we got to talk to quite a bit was Padam and again he was very caring and always around to help even after carrying almost 10 times more than what each of us carried for so many hours. I've never seen these porters break a sweat for the work they did. It seemed like they were from a different planet. All the accommodations and meals provided were good. As the trek was in the middle of the pandemic we were the only group in many of the Tea Houses so probably had the best possible experience with the cleanliness of the facilities and the quality of the food as well. Pandemic has affected a lot of people around the world in many different ways. The livelihood of people in this part of the world depends on tourism which was immensely hurt. Our group was glad we could make the trip and make a small difference in the lives of all the folks at Amigo that were part of our trek. If you are considering EBC trek please do consider Amigo Treks, you won't go wrong.

Spending time in Nepal with the Amigo Treks & Expeditions crew, led by Raju, was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. We are a group of eight people who dream of trekking in Everest Base Camp for 15 days and were referred to Amigo Treks by one of my coworkers. We've always been at ease with each other and find it simple to converse. Niti, with whom we communicated and asked hundreds of questions, responds quickly and thoroughly to your inquiries. We already have the feeling that our once-in-a-lifetime journey is in good hands. We were greeted by Raju when we arrived at Kathmandu airport, and he made us feel welcome. Next Niti briefed us on the trek the next morning, and our guide double-checked our equipment. He recommended gear and assisted us in purchasing our hiking equipment. We went for a welcome dinner after our full-day tour of Kathmandu, which was a memorable experience. Our trek to Everest Base Camp was so memorable that by the end of the trip, we had a distinct impression that we were half-Nepali. Raju was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and experienced, and he was able to answer any questions that arose along the way. Our guides educated us on local history and interesting facts, and we made many Nepali friends along the way, learning a few Nepali words that made us feel half-Nepali Everything was extremely well-organized, and the team is extremely competent. We endorse Amigo Team and enthusiastically recommend it to all of our friends and family who are planning a trip to Nepal.

The Everest Base Camp Trek is fantastic and magical! Our trip manager, Niti Sharma, as well as our guide and porters, were all humble, inspiring, and even amusing members of the Amigo Treks & Expeditions team. Namche village, Tengboche monastery, Sherpa cultured villages, Sagarmatha national park, Everest base camp, and the stunning sunrise views from Kalapathar viewpoints were among the highlights for me.
