Me and my boyfriend did this trip in late September. The views were breathtaking, especially the sunrises. Definitely recommend this trip to anybody who likes trekking, even without further trekking experience. This trip is totally worth the physical effort! We were quite surprised by the quality of accommodation and food even in higher altitudes. Our Guide Kishur and Porter Raju did everything to make this 7 day hike a comfortable and exciting experience. We felt well looked after at all times and learned a lot about local customs and nature. We would definitely do this trip again with Kishur and Raju as their company enriched our experience on the trek.

My friend and I recently completed the 7 day Annapurna Base Camp trek with our guide Hari Adhikari and our porter Devendra Ramtel. We couldn’t fault our experience one bit. The landscape was absolutely amazing. We had our entire itinerary, accommodation, food, etc. organised for us, we didn’t need to worry about a thing. Hari was the best guide we could have hoped for, always checking to make sure we were okay. He even carried our day packs for us when we got too tired.

We chose Amigo based on their price and their good reviews and we were not let down! We were in contact with Niti the whole time before the trip asking loads of stupid questions and she answered them all. Very grateful. The trip from start to finish was smooth, well planned and an overall unforgettable experience. Nobu our guide was informative, fun and great company and our assistant guide Narang was always there to lead or hang at the back. The porters Beni and Badgie (spelling of these names will undoubtedly be wrong) were always smiling and strong as an ox. The trip led to stunning views and was physically demanding enough to feel like a small adventure but anyone could do it. The food was generally great (if you like Dhal Bhat) and the accommodation was what you expect at that altitude. An altogether great experience.

I had an amazing experience with Amigo Treks during my trek to Annapurna Base Camp this October. My guide, Niraj, was very experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and caring. As a solo, female traveler and a beginner to trekking, he always ensured that I felt safe and comfortable. Everything was taken care of by both Niraj, and my porter, Rishi, from the moment I met them in Kathmandu, till the end of the trip in Pokhara. This trek has been one of the best experiences that I have ever had in my travels and I would not hesitate to book again with Amigo Treks in the future. Hi,My trip to Annapurna Base Camp(ABC) happend as an unplanned event due to last minute cancellation of Kailash trip and i was enquiring about various trekking tour operators in the available limited time.Among all the communication made to companies online,Mr Tika returned a quick reply with Itinerary for my query and that's how i decided to go ahead with Amigo trekkers.He also provided me enough motivation of doing this trek before the booking and payment as it's first time that i ever attempted a mountan trek lasting many days.I reached Kathmandu after 2 days and met Ms Binu and our guide Himal.Himal was very helpful from the day one and assisted me to do preperation in terms of arranging the trekking gears(Though i had majority of them for Kailash trip).Next day,I met my fellow trekkers after an exhausting bus journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara and bus was on halt for almost 2 hours due to unexpected traffic jam.Our trekking group comprised of 4 people including me, 2 porters and 1 guide.Our porters were Ranjan and Bikash who were very humble and friendly in nature.I really thank them for their laborious effort in carrying our luggages all the way to base camp.Himal possessed qualities of a good leader by knowing individual member's trekking abilities and preparing schedule of the day previous night itself.Both porters and guide took care of each of us in terms of food,water and wifi(Payable seperately at most places),lodging facilities and giving us constant encouragement on the way when we felt low on energy.We reached ABC as per the itinerary schedule though we had a small lag from previous day..The view of different peaks of Annapurna massif from ABC was astonishing and mind blowing for us.It was a heavenly experience for me.Before start of descend,I decided to fly back from Pokhara to Kathmandu as a quick option and to avoid bus journey again.Ms Binu and Himal helped me in arranging the flight booking and could reach back Kathmandu on time.On our last day,we bid farewell after a dinner and thanked Himal for his service throughout trek.I will always cherish lovely memories of ABC trek

I highly recommend doing the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Amigo. They had everything prepared for me by the time I arrived in Kathmandu, including both permits and also warm clothing. My guide and porter named Hari Adhikari and Hari Pariyar were absolutely fantastic. They were so friendly and accommodating, they also were so experienced as their Itinerary was spot on. I learned a lot from them about Nepal and their culture. They also took me to all the good guesthouses with the tastiest Dal Bhat along the way. The trek itself is not too hard as you have plenty of time each day to get to the destinations we aimed for. The views from Base Camp were stunning, it sits in a bowl of mountains, such as Annapurna I, Annapurna South and Machhepuchhre. An added bonus is the scenery along the way is a gorgeous mix of green mountains and grasslands. The Annapurna region has such a diverse landscape. All in all it is a real 10/10 experience, I thoroughly recommend using Amigo and if you can, ask for the two Haris!

We organised the trip with the manager Tika. He was helpful and quick to respond to questions via email. We requested a private trek (2 of us) and this was no problem for Amigo. The trek itself was amazing, we got a large snow dump after 3 days, the guide (Rishi) knew exactly which areas to avoid for avalanches and was well versed on alternate routes, he was always making sure we were ok. The porter (Umesh, aka "superman") stayed with us for most of the time and was ever helpful. Shared accomodation was meant for the higher altitude tea houses, but a private room was arranged for us every night. Rishi provided fruit for us after every meal, which was very nice! I would have no hesitation in recommending Amigo trekking to anyone. thanks for a truly memorable trip.

Namaste! Me and my friends joined the Amigo Treks and Expedition for the 8-day Annapurna Base Camp Trek and we had a wonderful time spending with the crew along the journey. The crew members including the trekking guide, oxygen guide and the porters are all very friendly and kind in person. We were having some bad time due to unfit condition of our team member but the guide gave us different kind of advises and discussion in order to let all the members achieve the target. All the team members made it to the ABC Base Camp on the schedule time and we were all very happy. I recommend our guide: Navaraj Magar. He speaks good english and very helpful Also thanks to the oxygen guide and porters: -Ranjan -Nabaraj -Mama -Baje Amigo Treks & Expedition is definitely a right choice for your trekking exploration in Nepal.

I would absolutely recommend Amigo Treks &Expedition to my friends without hesitation. Our trek guide Mr. Nava, asst Mr. Ranjan, Sherpa/Porter :Nabaraj ,Mama ,Baje always provide great mountain service with a smile .Especially Our treks guide Mr. Nava are extremely professional, experienced, responsible and friendly. They were great companions during the 8 days long treks. We couldn't made it to Annapurna Base Camp without them. Amigo Team became our great friends on the trip. We 100% satisfied & appreciated. We just completed our 8 day trek to Annapurna Base Camp with Amigo Treks and we counted ourselves extremely lucky to have Nava as our guide! Booking with the company was smooth from the very start. Tika was very helpful with our enquires and he responded very promptly. Even thought I asked a lot of questions before I finally made my booking, he was always patient and answered all my questions clearly. It was this kind of customer service and attention to detail that made me decide to book with Amigo Treks eventually...and after meeting & chatting with many other trekkers who booked with other companies during the trek, I was even more happy that I decided to go with Amigo! Highlights: - We often get to stay at one of the top teahouses among the selection at our stop. Given that the nature of the teahouses were rather basic during the entire ABC trek, I appreciated the fact my guide Nava took the effort to select the few hotels/teahouses with hot water for the first few days - While many other trekking companies also include meals in their trekking package, we were the only trekking group that had meals provided WITH A PLATE OF FRUITS EVERYDAY! I know these things seems simple but during the trek, it was such a luxury! You could literally see other people's heads turning when our guide serve us our plate of fruits. I witness this twice personally and we even had 2 people who came up to ask which company we've booked with and why we always have pomegranates, bananas and apples after our meals! On a personal note, the plate of fruits were very helpful and I appreciated it even more so as we got nearer to base camp as I was losing my appetite due to the high altitudes and the sweet fruits were the only thing I find myself having the appetite to swallow. Special mention to our amazing guide Nava: (Request for him if you get the opportunity to, because it would be the best thing that can happen to you during your trek!) He took very good care of us throughout the entire treks through the small little things he did... - He will always walk behind the slowest member of our group and pay extra attention to them. As I was trekking with my wife who walks at a slower pace, this is a fact that I appreciate very much. - At the base camp, he kept making it a point to let us know where we can find him during the night. This was particularly important when one of my team members had a splitting headache at 4am. We were super thankful for his help and his medication. - When we have Nava as our guide, he always bring us to all the special "attractions" about each place. For example, when we were at the base camp, he brought us out to witness the beautiful sunset on Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) mountain while other guides and guests were huddling in the teahouse. The next morning, he brought us out to see the spectacular sunrise on Annapurna 1 even before the rest of the other people arrived. Even though other people were on the same trek and same route as us, it felt like we had a more comprehensive version of the Annapurna Base Camp trek because of our guide! - He also gave us inside tips on each teahouse along the way such as, which teahouse had great hot showers, which teahouse had slow wifi so that we won't spend our money unwisely. - After the entire trip has ended, he even brought me to a trekking shop during one of his free days as I mentioned to him that I want to buy a down jacket to bring back home! That's great service that I completely didn't expect! Also, the team of porters that trekked with us were wonderful as well. Nabajar (our assistant guide), Deepak and Sudip. These guys made sure that our bags always arrived at the teahouse on time. We are extremely appreciative of them for that. All in all, if I'm going to do another trekking trip in Nepal, I'm definitely going to go with Amigo. They truly give you a first class trekking experience!
