The cost of Trekking can be a topic issue if you are planning for any trek. You would never like to add an unnecessary amount to your trek cost. The Annapurna Base Camp trek cost heavily depends upon the following factors.
- Trekking permits and fees: You’ll need to obtain a TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) card and an Annapurna Conservation Area Permit to trek in the Annapurna region, and the cost of these permits can vary depending on the season and the length of your trek.
- Accommodation and meals: During the trek, you’ll need to pay for accommodation and meals, which can vary in cost depending on the quality of the lodges and the type of food you choose to eat.
- Guide and porter services: Hiring a guide and/or porter can add to the cost of your trek, but it can also make the journey safer and more enjoyable.
- Transportation: The cost of transportation to and from the Annapurna region, as well as the cost of internal transportation within the region, can also affect the overall cost of your trek.
- Facilities and standards you choose

Generally, the higher the altitude, the higher will be the cost. The cost of the Lodge and food are predetermined by the Association of Lodge. You must be registered with TIMS before starting the Trek.
For entering the Annapurna Conservation Area project you will be charged the following fee:
- If you are from SAARC Country – Rs. 300 per person per entry (Approx. US $3 per person)
- If you are from Non-SAARC Country – Rs. 3,000 per person per entry (Approx. US $30 per person)

The price you pay for the Annapurna Base Camp Trek includes:

- 2 nights twin sharing accommodation in Kathmandu at (3-star Hotel) with breakfast
- 2 nights twin sharing accommodation in Pokhara at (3-star Hotel) with breakfast
- Welcome dinner and farewell dinner at one of the best Nepalese restaurants with traditional ethnic music and dance
- Annapurna trekking permits (ACAP) and Tims permits
- Bus transportation (Tourist Coach A/C Deluxe) to Pokhara and return from Pokhara (Flight or Car an option with extra charge)
- Breakfast in Kathmandu and Pokhara
- Three meals a day (Lunch/Dinner/Breakfast) during the trek
- Accommodation on a trek (Lodge/Tea House)
- Safe drinking water (Medicated safe and proof) during the trek
- Tea/Coffee (Served in a cup)
- Seasonal fresh fruits after dinner (during the trek only)
- Gov. licensed and well-trained English-speaking guide and his entire expenses

However, the cost excludes
- Nepal arrival visa
- Meals in the city except for breakfast and above mentioned special dinner
- Monument entrance fees
- Your nature expenses e.g. Mineral water, Beer, Coke, and entire beverage, etc
- Travel insurance that covers trip cancelation and Helicopter evacuation
- Tips and any other extending trips and accommodation.
