Everest, the highest mountain in the world, now stands at 8848.86 meters high. Yes, Mt. Everest has grown by 86 centimeters over years. \u00a0The highest point on earth is no more than 8848 meters, but 8848.86 as per the joint announcement made by the Government of Nepal and China on 8<sup>th<\/sup> December 2020. This announcement has not only declared the new height of Mt.
